P: Effect Controls values reset when adjusted using Up/Down arrow keys in Premiere Pro 26.5.0

In the “Effect Controls” tab I’ll click and adjust the properties of my clip (scale, position, Lumetri Color, etc.), but then when I click off of my clip into the timeline or somewhere else the adjustments are lost and the clip reverts. 

I’m running macOS 27 with Premiere 26.5.1 (Build 1)

I’m having the same issue. I use a Logitech MX Master 4 with the horizontal wheel mapped to the Up/Down arrow keys in Logi Options+ specifically for Premiere Pro.

I use the wheel to adjust Lumetri Color values. The value changes, but after playing/pausing or continuing to edit, it goes back to the old value.

If I click and drag the Lumetri value with the mouse instead, it works perfectly and the adjustment stays.

This only started happening after the recent Premiere Pro update.

Are you also using the up/down arrows for adjusting or something else?

In the meantime, a temporary workaround that has worked for some users is dragging the slider or enter numerically (make sure you hit ENTER after)

Please provide:

• Premiere Version: Find the exact version/build of Premiere you’re current using.
• Operating System: Specify Windows or macOS, along with the version.
• Mac Chip (Mac Only): Please let us know what M-series chip you have. If Intel please include GPU.
• GPU and Driver (Windows only): Please let us know your video card and driver version. We recommend updating to the most recent version; for NVIDIA users, we strongly recommend the Studio version of the driver.
   

Do you happen to be using the up/down arrows to adjust the scale/position? If so, as a temporary workaround, some users are able to adjust via the slider or entering numerically instead but ensure you hit enter, as well.

If i want to edit a clip with lumetri color, it always resets my values shortly after. i edit 1 thing i.e. shadows to +25 and shortly after its automatically reset to default 0 value. wth??

I will adjust scale and position under motion, then once clicked away or scrubbing, it will reset to the previous parameters. Annoying, please fix!!

• What is the exact Premiere version you’re using?
• Please specify Windows or macOS, along with the version.
  • GPU Driver (Windows only): Please let us know your video card driver version. We recommend updating to the most recent version; for NVIDIA users, we strongly recommend the Studio version of the driver.
• If possible, could you share a screen recording showing the issue?

For additional context:

• What kind of footage are you working with? (Camera, codec, resolution, etc.)
• Does the issue persist if scaling with the Property Panel?
   
• Does it affect all projects or only some?
• Does it affect new, empty projects?
• Was anything recently updated in your system?
• Did it ever work as expected on your system?

I’ve been facing a frustrating Premiere Pro bug for about a month.

When I scale a clip up—whether keyframes are added or not—the change appears to save initially. But as soon as I click away and select another clip, then play the timeline, the clip I scaled reverts to its original Scale value.

This happens repeatedly and is seriously disrupting my workflow, especially when working with multiple clips and keyframes. Please investigate this as a timeline/Effect Controls or property-saving bug and provide a permanent fix.
