P: OMF Export from Premiere Not Working

Serious question, why not use AAF? That works just fine to ProTools and is a more modern interchange format. The answer might be because audio only wants an OMF ... but perhaps it's time we push them to AAF.

I’m running into a serious issue when exporting audio from the timeline to an OMF file in Premiere Pro version 25.1. The export technically completes, but the resulting OMF file is basically empty — it contains no audio clips or usable data.

I’ve attached two comparison screenshots:

In Premiere Pro 24.x, the exported OMF file is correct and has a proper size (approx. 689 MB – see Image 1).

In Premiere Pro 25.1, the OMF file size is drastically smaller (only 39 MB – see Image 2), which reflects the fact that the file contains almost nothing.

I’ve tried different settings, but it doesn’t change the outcome. This issue is preventing us from sending audio properly to post-production.

Is this a known bug in version 25.1? Any fixes or workarounds would be very welcome.

Solution found: Export project from Premiere Pro to Audition and then export the OMF or AAF.

OMF has worked in the Beta since this issue popped up months ago. 

I just tested the latest Beta and OMF export seems to work as expected, at least with a simple four channel project.

Have just updated Premier to 25 and have run into the OMF and AAF exports not working. Both are just exporting the first clip and repeating it. Have resorted to muting the rest and exporting individual WAV's to get by. Looks like the problem dates back to the end of 24. It's now March... any fixes in sight??

This is a heavily relied on function in our productions. Updates would be welcome.

Hola @IanB_360 se sabe algo sobre este problema? Han pasado meses a hecho Adobe algo al respecto? No me voy a cansar de preguntar por aqui y por redes. Se supone que Adobe es un servicio profesional y esta no es manera de comportarse.

Ayer estuve hablando con el servicio tecnico de Adobe. La respouesta fue que es un problema de la actualización 25.1

No hay fecha estimada para arreglarlo. Ni siquiera me aseguran que con la proxima actualización se arregle. Han pasado meses desde la 25.1 Es un absoluta falta de profesionaliad por parte de adobe.
