P: Premiere media bin automatically scrolling to the top. Fixed in version 25

After adding a clip to one of my project folders, the bin keeps on scrolling to the top automatically.

I closed and reopened the app, but the issue persists.

The issue happens only for that specifin folder, all others behave as usual.

Premiere Pro version is 24.5.0 (Build 57) on Mac OS Sonoma 14.5

@Francesco32305837cpuo,

Perfect demonstration. Sure looks unfixed on Mac to me!

@Francesco32305837cpuo,

Thanks for reporting. I'm Windows; you're Mac. That is one possibility; it might not be fixed on Mac. It is also possible that settings are carried from an older project, etc.

Try this for testing:

Close all projects and PR. Open PR. Create a new testing project. Use the method I described:

Create a new bin, double-click to open in a new panel, set to icon view, and drag a bunch of clips from finder.

Is that more or less the way you have seen the problem?

I was having the same issue and what worked was just grabbing one of the bottom clips and kind of reposition it and it stopped the folder from moving so I hope this helps you

You are correct. Thumbnail is what I think of but Adobe refers to it as "icon" view. I guess I was referring to the "list" view that I don't use. Thanks for the clarification.

@Mitzleplick8867,

To clarify, thumbnail is icon, isn't it? The 3 options are list, icon, and freeform. Only icon was affected by the bug.
