Mac Mini M2 Pro. Mac OS Ventura 13.6.5   Adobe Premiere 24.2.1 Video fading through white on the second monitor! If you put a black video down, then everything works fine. Without black video, on the second monitor, the fade shows in gray and white.

Hi, I'm late to this but I'm having the same problem with M4 mac mini playing out to two monitors using latest PP 2025.

If you don't have an M2 mac you need to buy one to test with. There is certainly enough money being generated and without it how can you do any troubling shooting? You guys need to know how Premiere works aon all macs.

This error appeared in March 2024. What beginning of 2025 are you talking about? They promise to fix it in version 2026. But it's a disgrace for such a company. This annoying bug has been going on for two years.

This bug has been going on since the beginning of the year (2025) and is still not resolved. Is there anyone else that wants to join me in a class action suit against Adobe for this kind of unprofessional way of doing business? Even though most of us are paying over $700/year they can't or do not spend that money fixing bugs before they are released.

I have been using Adobe software for 30 yrs and I am NOT going to stand for this any longer and I do feel it is not legal and credits should be given.

This issue has been fixed in beta version 25.6.0 build 46 or later and will be included in a future release of Premiere Pro.

Happens to me to! As of June 2025. Using Apple Studio Display. Very annoying bug, and also fustrating it's taking so long for Adobe to fix this. Unprofessional. Can't watch my edits in fullscreen.

I don't have a full solve, but I do have a reliable workaround until it is fixed. I am on a MBP. Spec's attached. I get the same faded fade effect. The best thing to do for now is to move ALL your media up off the first track layer and throw a black video (File > New > Black Video…) under everything. Then when your fades happen they aren't going to transparent, but instead mixing with the black layer.

Annoying, but works. Hopefully it works for you too.
