P: There is no image in the preview section of the project

Hello, today, while I was working on a project in Premiere Pro, the preview image suddenly disappeared. In Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, the video preview does not open in the part where the preview screen is located. When I press the space bar, the sound of the video starting is heard, but there is no image. I searched in many places, but I could not find a solution. I deleted it and reinstalled it, it didn't work, I cleared the media cache and it didn't work, I downgraded or upgraded the version and it didn't work either. I tried and many other things but I couldn't find a solution. I am sending the screen recording as an attachment. I would be very happy if you could help me.

(my system properties
i7 13700h
gtx 4060
32 ddr5 ram
1tb ssd
The video I was working on was a very simple edit, so I don't think it was caused by a system freeze.)

Its been awhile since the last time I checked my post.. Over a month..?

Yes, It still doesn't work for me..
Sometimes preview on my program monitor works without turn off disable one of display adapters, but export section doesn't work, I can't export my works.. (I should reopen premiere, to export my works)

Other times my program monitor doesn't works, and still need use traditional solution with disable one of display adapters.

Still not found the solution, just use temporary solution which need extra effort everytime I use premiere.

Rule of thumb on a Windows system:

1. update Windows patches

2. update nVidia drivers

3. reboot and open PP

With luck, everything will work...

If using a BETA release, you may need to revert to an older build until the error is fixed (new builds daily) or wait until the next day and install the latest build.

I have done a clean install of the Studio Drivers as you said. I updated my Intel Drivers, i rolled back my Intel Drivers to previous versions. I went to HP troubleshooting and installed all the required updates, even reinstalled my BIOS.

None of it works.

The solution @jamieclarke is suggesting to new people on this thread (Device Manager > Display adapters > Intel UHD Graphics > right click and choose update driver > browse my computer for driver > Let Me Pick > Choose Microsoft Basic Display Adapter > Next.) does not work. It turns your laptop into a potato. It does temporarily solve this particular problem, but adds a whole bunch of new ones. So i suggest removing that as a correct answer on this thread. Even @hshsw_3739 who posted the solution initially says it doesn't work.

BTW this problem is also present in Lightroom. It doesn't load in my pictures.

I honestly don't know where to look for solutions anymore. Aside from hoping HP or Adobe rolls out an update that magically fixes everything.

I haven't been able to edit on the laptop i bought specifically for editting for over a month now.

Everything is black, nothing works, no sounds, no videos nowhere, my laptop is new, an i7,32 gb ram and rtx4070, so this should be good enough

I found the solution! I found the Intel driver for my Laptop, and downloaded it old version (gfx_win_101.6079_101.5736 - for me). Installed it and everything started working.

Have the same problem on my Victus Pro 16. Talked to HP Support for 1 hour. Didn't succeed. The advise from "maicrosoft basic display' worked. but this is not sulion, but just temporary help (the display is super dark). The BIOS is up to date. Don't know what to do
