Playback Lag bug.

Because we have so many reports and bugs of the playback lag since 23 point something.  Can we get a stable version, even a light version, something.  Something that turns all of this extra stuff off that keeps lagging and bugging things down so we can actually use the program?  Paying so much for a program that's industry standard, that you can't use, is just silliness.  I don't have time to learn resolve, I just want to get these projects out, and not be up til 2-5am trying to get the thing to play.  Or at least leave a working stable version that is known to work up so we can download it until you fix whats going on.

25.4, 24.6.8,

Windows 64
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 265KF (3.90 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.5 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Nvida 5070 580.97 Studio Driver

Hi @csilva23 - Can you navigate to the help menu and select system compatibility report then in the bottom left hand corner select export and email the two files to jamiec@adobe.com

It happens when I hit play.  It happens when I open the program and go into a file and hit play, doesn't matter whether it's nested, whether its the source file, its a multicam sequence.  It lags.  I'm looking at my side bar with 6 different related conversations.

It happens when Creative Cloud is closed, it happens when it's open.  It happens less often if I let it sit for 30-40 minutes.  It happens if I have to go in and make quick edits.  It happens.  It happens when Adobe decides to do things in the background, it happens when Adobe doesn't do things in the background.  It most certainly happens when there's more than one video track.  It happens when there's more than one audio track.  It happens when there's a nested video track, it happens if I've used my PC for more than an hour, it happens if I let my PC idle.  I can tell you when it's lagging, it's the only thing that's lagging.  It happens when I have other programs open, it happens when I don't have other programs open.

The more frequent times it happens is when its doing background tasks of loading "Getting graphics" that sits there and hangs.  Which there's not solution for that bug by the way, I did what other people said to do, thats still going on.

Same problem with me! High specs no issues in the previous update. Fix this Adobe! This is ridiculous.

Hi @csilva23 -

Thank you for explaining the issue. The best way for our team to understand playback problems is usually through a screen recording, since it gives us direct visibility into what’s happening. If that isn’t something you’re comfortable providing, we’ll do our best with the written details. Could you let me know:

Does the issue happen with all types of media or only certain clips?

Does it happen in every project, or only one?

Are proxies or effects being used?

This kind of detail will help us move forward without a recording.

Also not to mention, but this issue has been going on since Premiere Pro 2023.  For at least 4-5 years.  This is an issue with your libraries, and adding in all the AI bloat that you have added, the Adobe Library doesn't sync, it does the auto caption on the copies of the same files.  I have stripped everything down.  It is halfway working now.  This is a bit ridiculous, it's even more ridiculous, that we can't get one stable version that works without all the bloat.  I would like to edit videos, without having to spend ELEVEN HOURS going back and forth.

Sorry, I mean the video card crashing itself on those versions, I wasn't able to use my machine.  I don't have the time or the patience, or the money to go through that again.

Hi @csilva23 - When you crash do you receive a crash dialog box?

Absolutely not.  Both of those versions cause crashes within themselves.  Much less adding these playback issues to the mix.

Hi @csilva23 - It sounds like you are having a hardware issue.  I see you have a 50 series GPU which have had some issues.  Can you try and fall back to Studio driver version 573.22 or 572.83
