Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Open up a premiere pro project and press play
Expected result and actual result: Expected the timeline to playback/run normally. Actual results, it's just flickering, I don't really know how to explain it, please watch the video. This is happening only now, after I have updated Premiere Pro to the latest version a few minutes ago.
Everything else seems to be working fine. No issues with the audio or the video itself. It's just the timeline.
I think we can close this ticket, I found what the issue was. I had unticked this box below and after ticking it again everything went back to normal... That was soo weird. Any idea why that happened?
Thanks for the reply. We have an engineer on the thread, so the team knows about your problem. I'm afraid that the exact timing of a fix can vary, so it's difficult to give an estimate for things like this. Sorry I could not be more helpful in that regard. The team may ask you more about your case in order to find a solution. I have to ask for your patience in finding a fix. I am really sorry for the frustration. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks, Kevin

Why was my issue moved under this thread? I have no problems with adding or moving items within the timeline! I tested the same issue with Premiere Pro beta and the timeline is not as glitchy as the standard Premiere Pro version but it keeps crashing instead....
Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums! We are glad to see you here. I can see from your video the issue you are talking about. Do you happen to be on the latest Windows update? Some users are reporting a similar issue with the latest update.
