Premiere 25.3 Freezes when Saving

We have been using Premiere Pro 25.3 on Windows 11 (40gb RAM, 4gb graphics, Intel processor). Recently, when we save a project, Premiere will freeze after the save.  We have tried clearing cache and temp files, even rolling back to earlier versions of 25.x and it still does it.  One thing I did find is that if I roll back to the final version of 24.x it works fine.  Only issue is that we have a lot of files that have been completed or are in-process in 25.x and you can't open them in 24.  Our footage is being pulled from a network attached server that is connected via fiber in-house.  Luckily, the project will save before the freeze, but you have to use the task manager to close Premiere and re-open it to continue working.  I found a couple of posts from previous versions of Premiere with similar issues, but found no solution. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

  • Issue – Each time i safe a project file on to my Blackmagic Cloud Store Mini 8TB the interface freezes and needs to be shut down via task-manager.

  • Steps to reproduce – No matter if the project is created locally and then copied to the cloudstore or if it is created there. Each time i am running the project in premiere (25&26) the user interface will freeze or be very, very laggy after saving. The file is saved nevertheless. Autosaves work perfectly fine. The same happens when saving as.

  • Expected result – Premiere should just save and continue as before...

  • Actual result – Interface freezes

  • Screen recording – i don't think it is necessary - if you think it is feel free to ask

  • Adobe Premiere Pro version – 25.6.4 build 5 (happens on 26 version as well)

  • Operating system – Windows Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045

  • GPU driver version (Windows only) – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 32.0.15.8129

  • Video format – independen of video format

  • Comparative information helps us understand more about when the issue occurs: 

    • Does it affect all projects or only some projects?  --> yes

    • Does it affect new projects? --> yes

    • When did the problem begin? --> i think when we startet using the cloudstore. It works fine with macos tough
