Premiere audio level keyframes will not import or copy to after effects

Yes, I was having this issue with 26.2, and then updated both AE and PR to 26.3 and continued to have the same issue.

I don’t recall the last version in which I experienced this working.  The last project on which I was using this feature was probably several versions back, and at that time, my experience was only with the import sequence method.

In the current scenario, I have tried both sequence import and copy paste, and have been unsuccessful getting audio level or keyframe information to transfer from PR to AE, in the way that the linked Adobe webpage in my previous post says should be the behavior.

These are standard audio tracks. I have seen the same behavior with pure audio clips (wav files) and with the audio that comes from a video clip that has linked audio. 

I am seeing the behavior when one or multiple tracks have keyframes.  To be clear, this is about level information and audio keyframes applied to clips in the Premiere timeline using Effect Controls - Audio - Volume - Level.  The goal is indeed Volume automation, fading in and out music, ducking lines of dialogue, etc.  

Here it is in a more standard bug report format based on the linked guidelines:

• Issue: Audio level and keyframe information does not transfer from Premiere to After Effects with copy-paste or sequence import, even though opacity keyframes do transfer.

• Steps to Reproduce: A numbered list of the exact steps needed to replicate the issue.

1. Place audio clips or video+audio clips into a sequence timeline in Premiere.
2. Adjust the Volume of audio clips using Effect Controls - Audio - Volume - Level, and add keyframes there. Also potentially adjust and keyframe clip Opacity 
3. Select the adjusted clip in Premiere, copy with command-C, and then paste in After Effects with Command-V
4. OR: save the Premiere project.  Import premiere project into After Effects and select the relevant sequence for import.

• Expected Result: What should happen after the final step?

Clips should come into After Effects as layers, with the same timings as in Premiere, with keyframes on an instance of Stereo Mixer effect containing the volume adjustments from Premiere.

• Actual Result: What actually occurred?

The clips come into AE as layers with the correct timing relationship, and any Opacity keyframes come into AE as expected.  All audio layers come in with default volume levels, no keyframes, and no instance of Stereo Mixer.

PR 26.3.0, AE 26.3.0

• Operating System: Specify Windows or macOS, along with the version.

MacOS Tahoe 26.5

(the problematic behavior was also seen on the same Mac on the 26.2 Adobe app release, and also seen well as on a different computer with MacOS Sonoma 14.7.7, PR 26.0.2, AE 26.0.0)

• Video Format: 

This issue occurs with pure audio clips (WAV files), and with audio from linked Video-Audio clips, and from audio-only clips that were unlinked from Videos.  The videos in this case are ProRes or MP4
