Premiere Export location missing Issue

When exporting the location option is missing. I have tried everything that ai has suggested as well and worked on it for hours over multiple days.

What initially worked was sending a video to youtube, etc and it would export but not with a normal media file. Media encoder always shows the error message and cannot even build a batch there.

I have tried every version of premiere 26 on mac and pc. I have started new projects, new folders where I start from scratch, etc. 

This is preventing me from creating any new exports regardless of what I do.

      This has been happening to me for the last week. It did it again today and I cannot figure out how to export. I have used various versions of Adobe Premiere (2025, 2026, Beta) and they are all doing or not doing the same thing: The Export Location folder has disappeared. I have also tried toggling Youtube, Facebook, etc. to no avail.

      Welcome to the Premiere Forum. We need a little more information to help us identify the issue. Please see, How do I write a bug report? for the specs we prefer.

       

      In this situation is can also help to have a screenshot of the Export Windows you are seeing. 

      Are you saying that blue text beside Location is missing entirely? You’re unable to click in there to select your Export Location?

       

      Same for Media Encoder as it’s possible to select a sequence in Premiere and select “Send to Media Encoder.”

       

      Is there nothing you can click in the Output File column?

       

      Other things I might try is clearing your cache on startup, which the link above can walk you through. 

       

      Please let me know more about your PC and Mac systems, the exact version you’re currently testing on, and provide screenshots of this issue to help us diagnose.

      The other solutions from people with a similar issue over the years hasn’t worked for me. There is no invisible box
