Premiere Pro 2025 crashes upon opening recent project

I'm using PR 25.5.0, and it crashes whenever I open the recent project, either from the welcome screen or from the File menu.
Here's the screen recording.

Now, I tried resetting app preferences, trashing the media cache, plugin loading cache all that... did it many times but still the problem isn't resolved.
I'm wondering if it's because of any presets or plugins I'm using?

Hi @Raviteja_Kodimala4711 -  Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Please see, How to Report a Problem.

Do you have any control surfaces installed?  Can you unplug or uninstall them.

Sorry for the frustration.

To start Premiere Pro without plugins, hold Option (macOS) or Alt (Windows) while launching the application to open a Reset Options menu, then select the option to Disable Third-Party PluginsAlternatively, you can manually move the plugins from the MediaCore folder to a different location to temporarily disable them and check if the issue is resolved.

Using the Reset Options Menu (Recommended)
  1. Launch Premiere Pro: Start the Premiere Pro application.

  2. Hold Modifier Key: Immediately hold down the Option key on a Mac or the Alt key on a Windows PC.

  3. Select Disable Third-Party Plugins: A dialog box with reset options will appear. Choose the option to Disable Third-Party Plugins and click "Continue" to launch Premiere Pro without them.

Manually Disabling Plugins
If the reset options menu doesn't appear, or if you want to disable them manually, you can move the plugin files to a different location.

  • Windows: Navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore.
  • macOS: Go to /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore.
  1. Locate the Plugins Folder: Open the folder corresponding to your operating system.

  2. Move the Plugins: Select all the plugin files or folders and move them to a different location, such as a temporary folder on your desktop or a new folder on the hard drive.

  3. Restart Premiere Pro: Launch Premiere Pro to see if it starts successfully without the plugins.

If the Issue is Resolved
If Premiere Pro launches without problems after disabling the plugins, it means a third-party plugin was causing the issue. You can then try to:
