Premiere Pro 25.5 A low-level exception occured in Adobe Player (Player 76)

Afte updating to this version, I'm always getting an error: A low-level exception occured in Adobe Player (Player 76)

I've tried different troubleshooting as this error has previously occurred in past versions, but nothing has resolved the issue.

Such a shame on Adobe, that up to this date the issue is still occurring.

Hi @MPEO - What specific drivers are you using for your integrated GPU and dedicated GPU?
To isolate if it is a GPU issue can you navigate to Device Manager > Displays and then disable your integrated (iGPU) or dedicated GPU (dGPU) one at a time and see which one may be causing the issue.

This issue is really frustrating. I have to restart Premiere Pro to make it stop, and I'm close to not renewing my subscription and switching to DaVinci.

The problem occurs whenever I toggle the program window to full screen while using a second monitor connected to my laptop via HDMI. When the second monitor is disabled, toggling the program window to full screen on my laptop does not produce any errors.

Here are some specifics about my setup and what I've tried:

Acer Nitro ANV15-52
Nvidia RTX 5050 8GB
Intel 5-13420H
40GB RAM

- I am not using any third-party plugins.
- I do not have Blackmagic installed.
- I am simply doing a pre-cut of a .mov video clip.
- I changed the renderer to Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (OpenCL).
- I disabled H.264/HEVC hardware-accelerated decoding and restarted Premiere, but the issue persists.
- Premiere Pro is fully updated.
- Drivers are updated (tried on both Nvidia Studio Driver and Game Ready Driver)

This ongoing issue is becoming increasingly difficult to work around.

@jamieclarke I don't have any third-party plugins or panels installed. I don't have Black Magic installed. It just started after updating to the 25.5 version.

Does Theok8577996 suggestion help?

Sorry for the frustration.

Do you have a Black Magic device installed?

If so, you must de-install it, try then and then re-install it again.
