Well it is really strange situation, today I've updated pp beta 26 and previous projects began to lag and freeze while trimming and ripple cut again like in pp 25. Thumbnails are again lagging while updating , despite new feature in pp26 update

This is MacBook M1 Max

Yesterday I tried run all lagging projects in pp beta 26 and they worked well

so I guess it might be lagging because of version 25.5 on macOS Tahoe

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

If NVIDIA graphics, make sure to use the latest Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver).

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver).

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.
