Premiere Pro v.25 is very buggy

Since upgrading to version 25 of Premiere, I’ve encountered several frustrating issues that have made the editing process significantly more tedious. Here are some of the problems I’ve encountered:

 

  • Timeline In/Out Issues: Whenever I open a project, the in/out markers in the timeline are always shifted.
  • Playback Problems: When I hit play, the video plays, but when I want to stop it, the playhead stops, but the video continues playing. Hitting SPACE or clicking the STOP button on the program monitor doesn’t do anything until a few seconds later, after which the video starts playing from the spot where I stopped it.
  • Audio Clip Marking Issues: Marking in/out on an audio clip in the Source monitor marks it on the timeline but not on the waveform, making it difficult to make precise selections.
  • Red Giant Plugins: There was an issue where Red Giant plugins wouldn’t load. This was resolved by an update from Maxon, but the issue persists in After Effects 25.2. 

 

I’ve updated to every version of 25, 25.1, 25.2, but each update brings its own set of issues, while the playback problem persists.

Sequoia 15.4.1

64 GB RAM

    Timeline In/Out Issues - Shifted how?

     

    Playback Problems - Please file a separate bug for this. We are actively investigating playback issues, and the more information you can provide, the better.  See: How do I write a bug report?

     

    Audio Clip Marking Issues - A bug was filed, and you can try our 25.4 Beta to see if that fixes the problem.  Original post here.

     

    Red Giant Plugins - Please post in the After Effects Forum.
