Project panel changes view type

Just updated to 25.3 and encountered this bug. When switching workspaces Premiere forgets whether it's in List or Icon view.

Switching workspaces also seems to effect the Track Mixer panel for me. 25.3 seems pretty buggy. 

Have you tried what jamieclarke said? On my end, it doesn't help. Saving things like settings and preferences in Premiere rarely works great. Even the Preview Area, which I like to switch off on some Workspaces, enables itself back on when switching Workspaces in the Project Panel.

Hi @alireza_0216 -  Have you tried saving the metadata layout?

Once you have the columns arranged the way you want, right-click on any column header and choose Metadata Display. Then, click the Save Settings button and give your layout a name.

After that, be sure to go to Window > Workspaces > Save Changes to this Workspace to preserve the layout with your current workspace.

Give that a try and let us know if it resolves the issue.

Thank you. Yes it's a costume workspace. I have tested this too. But still it keeps changing when I switch between workspaces.

Are you using custom workspaces?

Once you setup a view you like make sure you navigate to Window > Workspaces > "Save Changes to this Workspace"

I have 2024 version. 

One thing you might do on the Windows/Workspaces menu is turn of the 'Import workspace from project'

I see that same issue. In fact the project panel often loads in the wrong panel I've set it to.
