I can't search for anything in the filter bin content. There is a file in the folder but when I type the name of the file to search it has nothing. To clarify more I attach 2 pictures that i try to search for energy vfx

you see there is nothing.but actually there is file name "energy" in the folder

I tried duplicating the project file to see if the bug would persist in the new duplicate project. That fixed the issue for me but just temporary 5 minute later this problem appear again.

Also still having this same issue in Premiere 25.5. Really frustrating bug. Duplicating the project fixes it, but eventually the search breaks again (i.e. searching for a file in the project panel does not find any file, even if searching for a word that is definitely in the name of a file.)

Still having this issue in 25.4 Beta. The temporary fix (duplicate project) still works.

Btw. It also affects Media Intelligence. You can still search but filters stop working - you get no results.

I think this has been posted many times before but I'm yet to find a solution to this. I type in a word and the search bar just doesn't find anything. It's very frustrating as I can see the files are there and can find the files when searching alphabetically.

Does anyone know a solution?

Hi Robbie,

I'm not seeing this issue. Can you show us a screenshot?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi @paisarn34160989a9lh ,

Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums! We are glad to see you here. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue. Please see, How do I write a bug report? I currently tested version 25.1 on Mac and I am able to use the search function , but it be nice to know your specs so we can take a look at why you are experiencing the issue.

Thanks for submitting your bug report. I hope we can help you soon. Sorry for the frustration!

Thanks,

Ian
