[Sequence > Render Audio] merely plays from arbitrary time

1. Create a multicam sequence with 8 audio tracks

2. Edit in Timeline

3. Sequence > Render Audio

Expected: Audio render modal window; OR playback from beginning

Actual: Playback starts from an arbitrary spot on the timeline, the same spot every time. Nothing remarkable about the spot on the timeline.

Hello,

Solution 1: Lower Playback Resolution

Solution 2: Disable High-Quality Playback

Solution 3: Turn on GPU Acceleration

Solution 4: Delete Media Cache Files

Solution 5: Use Proxy Videos

Solution 6: Mute FX

Solution 7: Optimize Rendering for Performance

Solution 8: Render Preview Videos

Solution 9: Increase Memory Allowance

Solution 10: Close Unnecessary Applications on Your Computer

Additional Steps:

  • Check for Marks or In and Out Points on the Timeline: Ensure there are no marks or in and out points set on the timeline, as Premiere Pro starts playback from these points.
  • Reset Preferences: Reset Premiere Pro preferences to default settings, as configuration issues can impact playback performance.
  • Delete Cache Files: Clear media cache files to prevent playback issues caused by corrupted cache.
  • Verify Playback Settings: Confirm playback settings are configured correctly, such as playing audio through desktop audio or the appropriate hardware (e.g., NDI or Blackmagic).
