Speed / Duration - unable to change by entering speed % or by using the slip tool. the dialog box accepts the new value, ok or enter and returns to 100%

Speed / Duration - unable to change by entering speed % or by using the slip tool. The speed % dialog box accepts the new value, when I click ok or enter it returns to 100%. The slip tool doesn't maker any adjustments whatsoever, either trying to stretch or shrink the clip. I have restarted, checked all updates and problem persists.

    Thank you for reporting an issue. We need a few more details to help like the exact Premiere version you are on and hardware information. Please see How to Report a Problem.

     

    Just double-checking, are you referring to the Rate-Stretch Tool [R]? Are you able to make any speed changes if you enable and edit the clip keyframe line? (right-click clip > Show Clip Keyframes > Time Remapping > Speed)

     

    What kind of media files are you working with, and are all types of media and all projects affected?
