Spotty Audio while editing

The audio when playing back drops in and out, sometimes its one track, sometimes its all of them. It seems to be a common issue that certain premiere pro users have had for years. I had an M3 Pro, upgraded to an M4 Max to see if it would fix the problem and in just a couple of days of editing the same exact project I had an error. I added more audio to another track a week later and now it's constantly happening. This is one of the worst bugs and needs a fix.
