Super slow response in multicam editing mode Premiere 25.1

Switching between cameras is taking 2-3-4 seconds to process when playback is stopped.

 

1. I hit play and recording of multicamera edit goes as expected.

2. I hit stop and switch camera or extend an edit and Premiere, while being responsive to all other interactions including playback, thinks for several seconds to apply my edit.

 

This is not an issue in 25.0 and slightly better in the latest beta version.

 

Also, the lumetri effect that is applied on the adjustment layer above slows playback drastically.

 

Project: UHD, 7 streams Sony A7Siii media with proxies enabled

 

Win 11 24h2, i13900k, RTX4080, 128gb ram, MB asus z790 creator wifi

and welcome to the Premiere Pro Forum community.  Thank you for taking your time to file a bug report. We would like to help figure this out with you. The team just needs a little more information to begin troubleshooting. If you could just jump to the link here  How do I write a bug report and follow the steps to providing more information about your bug, we will gladly take a look. Is the slow down of the multicam have only happen when using Sony footage? And would it be possible to get a test shot from you as well as a video capture of the slow down in performance? For the Adjustment layers when you turn them off your playback is normal correct? Let me know if you can send a project file and one or two test cameras. I would like to dive into this.
