The spell check option gets unticked when I move on to the next caption. I used to be able to turn it on once but now I have to turn it on every time I write in a new caption block.

I write subtitles where I translate from African languages to English so I have to create captions manually. Before, I used to turn spell check on in one caption block and it would remain on until I closed the project. Now, I have to turn it on each time I start writing in a new caption.

    Hi @Hikatekile242159656w21

Welcome to the Premiere forums! We’re glad to see you here. We do need a few more details to try to help with the issue like computer specs, version/build of Premiere, if Windows what driver, etc. with our How do I write a bug report?

What type of caption track are you using, CEA 608 or 708 or Standard? You can include a screenshot of your track settings on that.

In the screenshot below is where I believe you’re referencing the spell check with captions, and it should remain checkmarked yes, so curious to find out more details.

    Hope to help!
