The text outline (selection) line is not showing. I’m so irritated with this

When I select the text, the selection outline isn’t showing.

How are you interacting with the Text (Properties Panel? Program Panel? Text Panel?)
By Selection Outline do you mean the Bounding Box around the Text? The Text Itself? The In / Out points when Selecting Transcript Text?
What language is the text?
