Pobably not, because I'm more concerned with the gray text and the general text brightness of the UI

That isn't an option currently, I'm trying to get specifics for the devs to have listed.

Both a higher contrast between the dividing elements and background UI color/tone, and perhaps making those lines 1 or 2 or 3 pixels wider, would that cover this, Mike?

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but, I would like to see:

a bright UI; where all text fonst display in pure white, and where devising lins can be seen. when I look at my blank ttracks all I see is a solod black band, with just a hing of dividing lines.

In your preferences > appearance do you have "Accessible color contrast" enabled?

Thanks for posting on this. There's some UI things like font color and brightness user options that would be a huge benefit to many users.
