Video and Chroma "pop" using Geterative Extend

Hi, Folks.

Am I the only one?

Using a video that was recorded using OBS, then Remuxed to .mov, I tried Generative Extend for the first time. The video was of myself on camera sitting in my "office" at home. While the result was amazing, I did see a visible "pop" or change in video levels and chroma hue at the edit point. I was able to confirm the level changes using the Premiere Lumetri Scopes.

Video levels increased about 5 IRE and Chroma shifted slightly towards magenta.

Footage is 1920x1080 Full HD at 30p.

Thank you,

Bob K.

Hi @KeulerB,

Thank you for submitting a bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue. Please see, How do I write a bug report?

Are you able to share screenshots showing a before and after of the shift?

Wondering if the video recorded with OBS have a variable frame rate and if it was remuxed within OBS itself (was it just a file extension/container change?). Have you tried doing a full transcode or conversion of the file into an another format or is this being seen with all file types?

Sorry for the frustration,
Dani
