why sometime audio waveform not present?

audio is good, heard, just the visual waveform is missing. waited for half an hour. still no waveform. progress bar in progress panel shows analysis job done.

gotta re open the project each time. and thats in my opinion is a homework for dev. not a workaround. please fix
