In beta 26.3 it crashes and closes the program every time I try to export to Media Encoder. No errors, the program just closes.

It’s very simple and is reproduceable every time.  I upgraded to 26.3 today, and everytime I click file, export, media encoder… media encoder does not start, and premiere just closes. When I open it back up, it says ‘it unexpectedly shut down’, and ask if I want to open the file.  Every time I try, this happens. Restarting does nothing.

When i go back to using the non-beta version, everything works perfectly as expected. It’s only a problem in the newest beta.

Do you have any Security or AntiVirus software installed, per chance?

I have build 26.3 b30 installed and it works for me. I assume you are using: “file, export, Send to Adobe Media Encoder” as there is no plain ‘media encoder’ on the file/export menu.

It works for me, it’s probably quicker to just select the Export button from the option just under the main menu bar, and click Send to Media Encoder there.

It’s working for me either way:

    Win11-25H2, Beta 26.3 b30.

Hi @AdamCN - Are you on mac or windows?  Can you let us know the build you have installed, on mac you can navigate to the menu bar and select Premiere (Beta) > “About Premiere” and on windows you can navigate to the help menu > “About Premiere”

Do you have any third party plugins or panels installed?

Hello.  I am on Windows 11 Pro, and the Beta build I have installed is Version 26.3.0 BETA StaticLib (Build 11).  If I load the non-Beta version of Premier, all works fine.  It’s just the Beta version.  I do not have any third party plugins or panels installed.  Let me know if you need anymore information from me.  Thanks!
