Updated to the latest Beta of PP this morning and the timeline does not start playing when hitting the Spacebar; well; sometimes it does, 98% it does not start playback

    Hi @Lounger,

Thanks for submitting your bug report. We are looking into the matter now, we understand how vital it is to be able to playback. If you have your system specs and wouldn't mind sharing them with us,  Please see How do I write a bug report . I hope we can help you soon and we are sorry for the frustration!

    Thanks,

    Ian

Just downloaded and began using PrPro Beta 25.2.0 build 47 on Mac Studio M2 Max chip running Sequoia 15.1.1. When viewing clips in eithere the source window or program window, the space bar will start and stop the playhead; however, once I manually advance the playhead with the mouse, I can no longer get the playhead to start or stop with the space bar.  This does not happen with the regular program (25.1.0 Build 73) which I also have installed

With the new beta version, for some reason when I move the playhead, the play button / space bar no longer works. It shows it should be playing, but no time advances.

Same thing when bringing up the preview area, play button shows it should be playing, but that isn't happening.

If I switch between the clip preview area and the main preview area (sorry, I'm not clear on the actual names of things) I can manipulate it to start working. It's a really odd error.

    Steps to reproduce:
        1. ... To recommence play on either the preview or primary Edit panel I need to run the opposite playhead and then immediately click the playhead I want to use and vice versa or neither will recommence after stopping the playhead, without restarting the program.

Same exact issue, playhead is completely broken in this update. I've found I can sometimes get the main area to play if I hit the play button in the preview area. Sometimes this works.

Immediately after opening a project, playback in the sequence or program monitor panels will work until I attempt any editing task or even relocating the play head - from there on, the play head no longer responds to tapping the spacebar or clicking the play button, even though the play button indicates that it's in playback mode by changing to a stop button.

However, relocating the play head does refresh the current frame, and dragging the play head or shuttling with the left/right arrow keys does scrub through the footage, which makes me think that the "play" command is being ignored, rather than some graphics driver failure.

The only way I can temporarily regain normal playback is by playing a clip in the source monitor, then switching back to the sequence or program monitor. But as soon as I attempt anything from there, the play head  freezes again.
