Premiere Pro Beta crashes when I try to use the top tools: File, Edit, Clip, etc.

I have done the recent updates, I tried restarting the software and the PC but it doesn't solve the problem. It will probably be fixed with the next update ?

Well, I’ve seen it a number of times, and it still says zero.

Are you new here? Adobe just switched to a new website / forum software. So, no doubt there are some teething problems.

So it sounds like you have an ‘alt’ key, are you on a Windows machine? Give us some details on your hardware. So, no other program are showing such behavior, even the shipping version?

I’m on Win11 25H2 (clean) w/PP 26.2 b24, and I’m not seeing any issues with the system menu.

Those would normally be called the system menu. So, what, none of them fly open when you click them? Alt+F would normally open the File menu, can you give that a try?

Yes, those. When I click it, it opens slowly at first, then everything freezes, then it restarts and Premiere no longer responds. I also tried what you suggested, but it doesn't change anything. Normal Premiere works fine. However, I'm wondering why my post on the Premiere beta bug report isn't appearing. There have been updates in recent days, but the bug hasn't changed.

This post is in the beta forum. Have you had previous beta versions installed? If so, I take it they didn’t have a problem?
