Premiere Pro Forum - Lag

  • July 23, 2023

The length of time that the PPro forum takes to load (both initially and for "next page" loads) continues to get longer and longer. It's probably 20 seconds or more now of lag.

It's suprising to me that Adobe would not want to monitor and maintain its forums to industry leading standards.

... any chance Adobe is going to look into this and improve the performance?

it's not adobe; it's khoros - they manage the adobe forums.

"... they are looking into this now."

My original post was July 23rd. It's unfortunate that Adobe didn't look into it then.

yes, we've notified adobe that some forums are unusable and all are, at least, slow.  this was the response from a few minutes ago:

"We've raised a critical service outage with Khoros -- they are looking into this now."

... and pretty much unusable today. Load time seems to be effectively "forever".

After a couple of minutes I get a 504 error:

" CloudFront attempted to establish a connection with the origin, but either the attempt failed or the origin closed the connection. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner."

Any idea about how I can contact the website owner?

yes, but still 5 times longer than previously and other forums. ie, ps is very delayed, premiere is delayed.
