API to call triggers, looking to add twitch integration to effect my avatar looking for a way to do this / control this will channel points / chat watching applications.
This would be nice for screening your character in a show on a projector or a tv that you have hooked up the program to. Where you don't see the record buttons. For preforming live without streaming. It could be used then easy for live shows on school without having to get it up in another program. I did my exam in this way, having my computer atached to a tv screen with HDMI from computer, then midi controlling everything from one drum mashin and to other midi devices. But it was sad that i couldent get the full screen, had to scale the window. Dident look pro 😞
Hi. Flipping love this program. Soooo much. A bunch. Also, I love the mobile Photoshop app. It is my favorite way to create and edit the artwork for my puppets, backgrounds....etc. My idea centers around, (what may be in fact, nothing more than ignorance) my perceived inability to edit/access the puppet photoshop file from my iPad Pro, in the way Character Animator natively uses the desktop Photoshop program(app? Am I supposed to call them all apps now? ****....).I suppose what I'm looking to do is this: I'm editing/rigging a character in CA. I "edit original," and am given an option, either within CA, or possibly through PS, to edit the file from the iPad Pro. In this perfect world, when the iPad version saves, it would populate the changes in CA, just like the desktop PS. Hopefully I don't sound like an idiot. Thanks!Professor Julius
To be able to change colour of takes, the same as you can change colour of clips in PR
Hello, I am working with Ch and would like to know if anyone have seen the list of sounds that is supposed to be rocognized? I think I have heard like 150 different sounds... actually I am working with, Swedish, English, French and Spannish, so there aere defdenitively different ways to prounounce the letters.... Do I have to explain?well. in english e is e and a is a and y is y and i is ibut then if I change to swedish.... the i is like the english eand in spannish the a is like the english u in the word un..If you want to know how the french prounounce the e? well it depends on if it has an accent grave or not etc..... so then you say but it doesn't matter... because it is not letters.. but yes it is....because when I make the layers names.... I have to write letters.... So back to the problem... I need to have a list of the letters that Ch can recognize in english, and if there are a list for all languages??? well better but if not I can do with the list of 150 sounds... so I ca
For example, the user has a group of Cycle layers, some of them are nested inside each other, and they are sorted like this:. Idle_LayerCycle. Jumping_LayerCycle. Sitting_LayerCycle -> Sitting_And_Waving_GoodbyeIf the user wants to go from "Sitting_And_Waving_Goodbye" to "Jumping_LayerCycle",he has to turn off the "Sitting_And_Waving_Goodbye"trigger,then turn off "Sitting_LayerCycle",to finally activate the "Jumping_LayerCycle" trigger.Maybe we could have a less painful way to cycle through Nested groups.
Auto lip sync slider/control to determine the amount of visemes created for pre recorded audio. We find we have to manually adjust the automated lip sync quite often as it seems to add a lot more visemes than required, if there was a sensitivity setting that could higher or lower the amount of visemes used that would be great.
One thing that "explainer animation" tools often have is a lot of pre-populated settings / objects for characters (and sometimes animations for those objects). For instance, you can drag and drop a "cell phone" to a character, and it will have them hold it, and you can drag in an animation of them tapping the screen.Other 2D animation tools have things like walk/run cycles, jumps and hops, dancing, etc, that can drive the animation of a character at a certain point. Not only would it be great to have a library of tools to create rich movements (and add objects, bg furniture, etc), but it would be great if custom variants could be posted on a public forum to share with other users.Right now this is probably limited by the fact that a scene is essentially just a single "puppet", which is hugely limiting. Ideally a scene should contain multiple puppets, objects, and cameras. But once that happens, being able to quickly build actions with pre-programmed objects / actions would be AMAZING fo
Add audio fade in and out and video fade to black. Then I wouldnt need premiere pro when Im working on Char Ani
Need to be able to drag a box around all the handles and sticks in a layer.Would be nice if copy/paste of the origin would at least copy the origin's "tags" (understandable why it wouldn't necessarily paste the location)
During face capture allow eye's half closes, squinting, sad eyes, angry eyes. This would enhance the possibilities of Characterizer immensely. These extra faces could be prompted by saying "Squint your eyes", "Make an angry face", "make a shouting mouth" etc....Then these could be set as possible triggers once the program finishes the capture.
It would be useful to have negatice setting for the nutcracker jaw to animate for example an upper jaw or mouth as seen here:https://community.adobe.com/t5/character-animator/how-to-animate-a-hand-drawn-animal/m-p/11405659?page=1Thanks
I f you drag something onto a folder inside the Project panel the folder should not open automatically. (Only if you stay on the folder with the dragged object/cursor)
Request: please add mouth-expressions (neutral, smile, surprised) in context-dropdown-menu in the timeline(additional to visemes). If you select a single viseme in the timeline you can easily change it to another simply by right-click on int and select another (e. g. an M for an S, or silence) Thats great :)))I would like to have access to neutral, smile, surprised as well. Since there are in the puppet rig, too.
I am constantly fighting with the rigging UX so many things that should be just simple and easy, are difficult. Compounded with the fact that tags often overlay pins it can be very frustrating.1) Ability to turn on/off the display of tags/behaviors so that I can see only handles or sticks. I draw the rig in illustrator in a sepearate hierarchy so I can trace over it, manipulate it etc, and most importantly MIRROR it! much easier to do that way than manually trying to implement the sticks and handles in all the right places. I also color code handles that I want draggable, or ones that represent layer origins.2) Ability to turn off everything except for sticks/handles that have a particular tag: e.g. "draggable" (or "keyable" would be amazing) why? because in order to NAME the handles you have to walk through the outline. But if you select all layers, you can see all of the rigging. if you could then have it show ONLY the rigging you will need to be renaming it's much easier.3) Abi
I would like to see more of the internal structure of nested scenes in my timeline. What about adding a visible section which represents the working area inside the nested scenes? And/or make the markers visible on the bar in the timeline that is representing the nested scene.
I need the option to turn the Sound on/off when I have nested scenes in my timeline. Why not implementing a little sound-button next to the eye-button (visibilitiy)? Would be helpful 🙂
I want to change some menu shortcuts. For example; I want to add a shortcut to Compute 2 Lip sync command
where is the limb IK tool??? i have the last version, but i only see the old arm IK.
I do not know if this exists already, but I think it would be helpful to point your playhead at specific frame of your timeline then hit your Trigger key to manually add the keyframes you set for that said Trigger key in the timeline (without pressing Record). Not sure if it makes sense.
I have 2 different swap sets of hand poses, namely the right hand and the left hand. Both swap groups has the same hand poses. However I would like to have it in one trigger swap set, instead of two. I can do this by creating swap set of, as example, the right hand, then manually move individual hand poses from the left hand group to the right hand swap set. It's a lot of work. Is it possible just to create for both hand groups its own swap set, then in the trigger panel, I drag either hand swap set to the other and have it automatically merged. So each hand pose trigger will have two trigger (right and hand) automatically.
Dont understand why edit original open my illustrator, not photoshop??this is a psd file. Why open illustrator automaticly???
Update your tutorial to match 2020 3.3 version.
**Situation**: I'm fairly new (2 Weeks into Ch). I want to create explainer videos like Kurzgesagt. I want to create some more complex animations with draggers.**Expected**: On pause or record, while Dragger in Properties is active (red dot), I can see the pose/movement (takes) of the puppet.**Actual**: All takes, under the current Dragger Property, are not visible.**Solution**: Create an option under the Dragger property that lets us see the current poses/movement. While recording, the movement is not relative to the existing takes but the same as if you were recording normally.
Use CA as a interactive quiz/scoreboard. I would like a better way to add numbers and add the desired number increments to allow for live scoring.Using a shortcut/number input box the counter will change or plus button to add to the score. I can then set this up via a trigger so I can overlay the animation on top.
