ColdFusion

I have previously succeeded in installing CF2016 on a Win10 Apache24 setup but had to refresh Win10 after a disk failure & replacement.  Now when I go through the CF install process I get a message that there were errors, a number of which show up in the coldfusion-error.log.  My Apache server still runs .html files but the browser hangs on .cfm and produces a message "The connection was reset".  The coldfusion-error.log shows a number of entries as follows:Jul 17, 2016 9:08:46 PM org.apache.coyote.ajp.AjpMessage processHeaderSEVERE: Invalid message received with signature 18245Followed later by multiple entries:Jul 17, 2016 10:24:06 PM org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoaderBase checkThreadLocalMapForLeaksSEVERE: The web application [ROOT] created a ThreadLocal with key of type [coldfusion.runtime.Cast$1] (value [coldfusion.runtime.Cast$1@27902ba2]) and a value of type [java.lang.Boolean] (value [true]) but failed to remove it when the web application was stopp

Hello,I installed CF 11 on many servers and all of them are OK except one where every time I try to change any config - like adding mapping or extensions - I get kicked off and when I look at the log I see this error"Information","ajp-bio-8014-exec-18","08/16/16","07:42:21",,"Session rotated successfully.""Warning","ajp-bio-8014-exec-18","08/16/16","07:43:10","CFADMIN","There was an error while verifying the token. I have completed the installation of both CF10 and CF11 on the same server (Win2008R2/IIS 7.5).  When I log into the administrator for either CF10 or CF11, I am presented with a duplicate navbar on the left (see below).  When I select an item on the navbar, it is properly displayed, and this effect doesn't reoccur.  Any ideas as to addressing this issue, or is it even an issue?

Does anyone have the official link to download the CF2016 Server Manager air application?The one I have found on the website (http://download.macromedia.com/pub/coldfusion/updates/12/servermanager/ServerManager.air ) downloads the ColdFusion 11 version (unsigned I might add).Thanks.

I noticed the Support Matrix for ColdFusion 11 lists Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012 and 2014.However, the Support Matrix for ColdFusion 2016 only lists Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and 2014.Does anyone know if support for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 was really dropped in ColdFusion 2016, or if it simply was not tested by Adobe?I'd like to set up a new web server with ColdFusion 2016 installed that communicates with an existing DB server running Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.Thank you.

I have a need to upload video clips from football games to our website.  These clips vary from 5mb to 200mb and there can be up to 220 per game (though usually about 160).  The total size of all files is about 18gb.I am using the htmp input type=file multiple option to get the file names and cffile uploadall to bring the files up to the server.  I actually have my code working but if I give it more than about 30 of these clips, it chokes and dies.  These files are being uploaded by officiating crew evaluators who are not technical in any way.  And because of the file size, it can take several hours to upload.  What I am trying to do is have our website actually initiate the uploads rather than have them do it.  So I need to upload all files in the same transaction and just let it run as long as it needs to.So apparently around 30 of these files or so, I must be hitting a wall.  Does anyone know what this wall is and how I might go about avoiding

I'm installing a developer profile of ColdFusion 2016 to Mac (Version 10.11.6) and I'm having an issue with completing the installation because I can't run the web server. Per the instructions, I went into my applications directory, ColdFusion2016/cfusion/bin to start the server but I don't know where to type the required "./coldfusion start" to start the server. I just set up ColdFusion 11 and I am able to access the ColdFusion 11 Administrator so I know ColdFusion is running. But when I try to load a web site, I get a page not found error. I added an additional site to my CF9 server.  The main site works perfectly.  The new site partially works.I created a test page, index.cfm, that displays today's date.If I visit mysite.cfm it displays the date.If I visit mysite.cfm/index.cfm I get a 404 error.Is there something I need to change in IIS?Please keep in mind I am not a server person or a programmer, just someone who gets to play with their departments site.Thank you

I am looking to see if there is a solution out there using Coldfusion 11:If a pdf document is created with cfdocument tag, is there a way to tell if/when a page break occurs while the pdf is being created? ...  Keeping in mind the content of the document varies...??  I am not aware of a way to accomplish this so any info would be greatly appreciated...Thanks

Is the custom 404 errors set in the IIS or ColdFusion? One of our read only production server is not displaying the custom 404 error and I like to find out why. Any suggestion is much appreciated.

The below shown code works well on CF8. password can get from DB successfully. But it doesn't work on CF11. It can't retrive password from DB. I have a project which can be considered as a heavy load application. I have bought 3 primary server and 3 back up server from Amazon , primary is of 32 cup with 244 gb ram and Secondary  server with 16 cpu with 122 gb ram . Can someone suggest to do the Coldfusion tuning because now the Coldfusion server is not listening when load is increasing, please advise

Working with CF2016 has been quite the adventure...One major annoyance (bug) I have come across is being unable to manage multiple Administrator sites for separate instances running on the same server.To reproduce this, open Chrome and browse in 1 tab to the Default Tomcat administrator area https://wt-cf2016-1:8443/CFIDE/administrator​ and login.Next, open a second tab and browse to another instance running on the same box https://wt-cf2016-1:8601/CFIDE/administrator and don't loginSelect your original tab from the first step and click on any menu link to the left.  You will be instantly logged out.What is ironic about this, is that I can be logged in to the same instance multiple times in the same Chrome browser with the Allow concurrent login sessions for Administrator Console enabled...Anyone have a work around for this?

I am upgrading an old CF 8 application to CF 10.  The first error I have encountered after upgrading is in my application.cfm and the site won't load at all."The client scope settings combination is invalid.  The clientscopestorage is set to use cookies, but setclientcookies is not set to yes."What is clientscopestorage?  It's not a valid attribute of the cfapplication tag.  I can't turn up that attribute in any searches on the forums, in the documentation, nor via Google.  I tried setting loginStorage and clientStorage to settings other than cookies, just in case that's what it meant.  But that didn't work.  I suppose I could set setclientcookies to Yes, but that's not how the application used to operate so I'd rather figure out how to fix clientscopestorage, whatever that is.Thanks,Tom

Series of events (re-occurring events) are not displaying properly. Only the 1st instance is showing when I do a GET.It works fine previously on Exchange 2007 before we upgraded to Exchange  2013.I noticed that the recurrenceid is empty but it had value when the mailbox/calendar was still on Exchange 2007EnvironmentColdfusion 11Exchange 2013Has anyone come across this issue?  Not sure if it is CF or our new exchange server that is causing this issue.Thanks,Chris

I just updated to ColdFusion Builder 2016.  The 3 tabs,Source view and the two Default Browser view tabshave disappeared.  I have searched Adobe.com, Help, and only found one reference on this page:ColdFusion Help | ColdFusion Builder Workbench BasicsIt says,The Source view displays the source code for files. The Default Browser View displays the output in an HTML or CFML page.but doesn't explain how to make the views appear.Can anyone help with this?
