I am having a problem with all my pages that include Cfwindow after upgrading to CF11. There is a long delay (15seconds) and then the message - Unresponsive ScriptA script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.Script: http://sbs/CFIDE/scripts/ajax/ext/ext-all.js:18This happens also on the test page from CF11 documents cfwindow - ColdFusion, English documentation - Adobe Learning ResourcesApart from the delay, the page loads and works fine.Is this a problem with with my installation following upgrade or a more general issue?RegardsRichard
I have one CF server that has a range of 20 IP addresses. Our SQL Server is behind a firewall and we need to give it an IP address to allow access from the CF server to the SQL server. CF is not picking the first IP or the last, it seems to have just picked one random IP address. How do we configure or setup ONE IP for CF to use when communicating with our SQL SERVER? Please advise on any help & suggestions.Thank you!Ernie
We're getting messages from PayPal about the need to update to a VeriSign G5 root certificate if we access their API. We call the API with CFHTTP using ColdFusion 10. Does anyone know if the G5 certificate is in the CF10 keystore? Or, is this something that needs installed on the OS (Win 2008)?

I have two issues with cfgrid after upgrading from ColdFusion 8 to ColdFusion 9.1. 1)There is now an extra column showing up on the far right and I cannot figure out why or how to remove it. 2) The column headers do not show up until you mouse over them or refresh with F5We considered scrapping cf grid and populating an html table but we need to maintain the sorting functionality without a lot of rework.

Hello, all,I've got a CFC (let's call it test.cfc) that is supposed to handle a lot of internal calls to other CFFUNCTIONs. I had read that using "this.functionName(args);" should work. However, for some reason it isn't. I still have to use "components.compName().functionName(args);" for it to work. Pseudo-code: <cffunction name="functionA" access="private" output="no" returntype="any"> <cfquery name="getThese" datasource="#application.thisDSN#"> SELECT * FROM tableA ORDER BY ID </cfquery> <cfreturn getThese /> </cffunction> and <cffunction name="functionB" access="private" output="yes" returntype="void"> <cfset tmp = this.functionA() /><cfoutput>#tmp#</cfoutput> </cffunction> This produces the error: Ensure that the name is correct and that the component or interface exists. But the following works just
I am using coldfusion 8 with macromedia oracle driver 10g on RHEL. I wanted to know if Oracle 12c driver will be compatible and what is the best way to upgrade it ?
Hi all,On our Windows 2003 (32-bit) test server, I had CF10 with the Mandatory Update installed on it. I patched CF to Hotfix 16, and then suddenly we saw problems where people couldn't log into the site - they kept on getting redirected back to the login page. Tweaking browser settings and clearing browser cache seemed to alleviate the problems but I'm wondering if this is a common problem for this update, or if there was a simple step that I missed. Any help is appreciated!
hello, I need the cold fusion 8 download
What is the best route to determine why the coldfusion application service is hanging periodically? When this 'freeze' occurs I have to shutdown all the coldfusion services to get the application service to restart. Sometimes it even requires restarting IIS, For other java applications that hang, I can do a 'kill -3 (or quit)' and it generates a heap dump. Some vendors will take this heap dump and analyze it and be able to tell you exactly what froze and likely why. Is that something that adobe can do if we purchase a higher level support contract? Or in your experience is it better to find a third party consultant? Several of us have 'googled' this issue to death, so its time to find some expert help:) Unless something has changed or become well known about Coldfusion 9 on Windows 8 in terms of hangs? We are pretty sure that it has something to do with Coldfusion not being able to reach data sources consistently (network issues), b
We host several ColdFusion 10 sites and right around the same time I started seeing Adobe Marketing Cloud commercials on TV, a few of these sites (3-4 so far) started reporting sporadic errors, all similar to this:"TELMGMT","151.245.172.182Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E; Tablet PC 2.0; InfoPath.3; ATT)40AdobeOrg, on line 1, column 31, is not a valid identifer name. <p>The CFML compiler was processing:<ul><li>An expression beginning with AMCV_55633F7A534535110A490D44, on line 1, column 1.This message is usually caused by a problem in the expressions structure.</ul> <br>The error occurred on line 26./sbc45000/srf55000_order_process.cfm"Based on some Googling, I think that the AMCV_55633F7A534535110A490D44%40AdobeOrg is a cookie that is somehow related to Adobe Marketing Cloud.None of these sites report
Hi,I am working in a coldfusion application which is hosted in 2 windows servers with IIS versions 6.0 and 7.5. The problem is that nowadays the users are getting the IE error page 'Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage'. This issue is not bounded to a single page. Users are getting this issue in different pages when they click links or click the submit button. And this issue is replicated in two different servers. I thought of being this as a cache issue and tried with the nocache. But it didnt work. I am clueless about this now. Please help me out. Thanks.
Hi,My issue is that when ever user is clicking link or submit a form, sometimes instead of directing to a new page, it will show the internet explorer error page 'Internet explorer cannot display this webpage'. I didnt find any error message in the log in cf admin as well as IIS admin. Then I checked with a simple HTML page which refreshes in every 3 minutes. I found that this page is also showing the same issue. So I think the issue is not related to Coldfusion. Still the issue persists. So does anybody have any idea about this? Please advice. Hi,I have been using coldfusion to generate pages on my server. However I have noticed that coldfusion seems to be generating the code below before the main code of the page. This seems to be affecting code trying to resolve compatibility mode issues in Internet Explorer, etc. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"><html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" /></head><body></body></html>Can anyone please advise if they know why this would be happening? Many thanks!

Hello,I have an application that is hybrid JRun 4 (JSP and Servlets) along with a good chuck of ColdFusion MX6 pages and components that I need to upgrade to more current technology. I want to go to ColdFusion 11, which I understand comes with a Java Application Server.Q1: Is it likely it will be able to run my existing JSP and Servlets, in addition to the CF6 pages and components?Q2: Do the JDBC drivers still come with or work with the latest version? Thanks.Greg
I'm trying to find a good step by step instruction on how to add Server in Builder 3. I found this YouTube tutorial, CFBuilder Server Setup - YouTube, but since we used CommonSpot CMS, I'm not sure the proper way to setup. Any suggestion is much appreciated.
Will anyone point me to documentation that says ColdFusion 10 supports Java 8?Thank you!
