This has never happened to me: something actually works in IE and NOT in FF! Current version of FF is 3.06. The CFdatefield input does not function in any Mozilla-based browser and throws a Javascript error: Error: "_f is undefined" "Source File: http://localhost:8500/CFIDE/scripts/ajax/package/cfcalendar.js" This points to a line in the JS: "ColdFusion.Calendar.setUpCalendar=function(_6,_7,_8,_9,_a,_b,_c){ var _d=ColdFusion.DOM.getElement(_6+_b+"_cf_button",_b); var _e=ColdFusion.DOM.getElement(_6,_b); var _f=null; var _10=null; if(_e.value!=""){ _f=_e.value; _10=_f.split("/"); } " Where the last two lines seem to have a problem. I use cf_sql_date as my report data source format.The report shows ts '2013-05-13 15:00:00 for the report.Please advise how I can change the format like mmm/dd/yyyy to my report for the date and hh:mm:ss for the time format for the report.Your help and information is great appreciated,Regards,Iccsi

Could people recommend a nice menu library that could be used easily with ColdFusion application?

My cfcookies are only good for "domain.com" and if a user goes to "www.domain.com" the cookie is not valid.  Any ideas on how I can make the cookie valid for the entire domain?  I have entered the domain as ".domain.com" in the cfcookie tag.  Coldfusion version is 8.Thanks!Mike

I am using "&amp" in a coldfusion variable and assigning this to another variable. We recently upgraded from CF8 to CF9 Enterprise.  I'm getting an "Unable to create temporary file" error onmy CFIMAGE resize calls.  We use sandbox security.  I assume I need to grant write access to whatever folder CF uses for temp files, but which folder is it?   The same code (and sandbox settings) ran fine in CF8....Note, if I attempt to add C:\JRun4\servers\cfusion\SERVER-INF\temp to the sandbox for this particular app, CF crashes on all requests across all apps on the server with a:Security: The requested template has been denied access to C:\JRun4\servers\cfusion\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\WEB-INF\cfclasses\cfapp2ecfc1510154633.class.The following is the internal exception message: access denied (java.io.FilePermission C:\JRun4\servers\cfusion\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\WEB-INF\cfclasses\cfapp2ecfc1510154633.class read) ColdFusion cannot determine the line of the template that caused this error. Hi there,i am trying to set up CF10 parallel to CF9 with the apache webserver. I've tried it with the Beta of CF10 but it didn't works. Now we perchuased CF10 and the problem is still the same. Does anyone have a solution that combines jQuery File Upload with coldfusion - I am not very patient when it comes to jQuery and I am assuming a clever person has worked this out?! Yesterday, I applied recommended hotfix APSB13-13.  Today, I can't get into my CF Admin panel.  I'm receiving a HTTP Error 500.0.I'm assuming this is an IIS issue related to a new DenyUrlSequence, but I can't find the solution anywhere.  I've confirmed that, in my web.config file at the web root, I have an entry removing the DenyUrlSequence, which SHOULD allow the local machine to access the CFIDE/administrator folder.1) Can anyone help me pinpoint the problem OR2) Can anyone tell me how to roll back the hotfix, so I can start over?Thanks in advance for any help/guidance.

I created a form with LiveCycle and I am able to populate the fields on the main page, but I am unable to populate the fields on the master page.  I have a footer on the master page that has a few fields that I want to display data in.  Is it possible to populate fields on a master page?  If so, what is the heirarchy of subforms on the master page?

Upgraded website from Cold fusion 8 to Cold fusion 10. Initially was working Fine. Suddenly a part stopped working with the following error.The getJoinsAsString package method in the C:\Apache\Tomcat\webapps\ROOT\Reactor\query\render\join.cfc component cannot be accessed from C:\Apache\Tomcat\webapps\ROOT\reactor\query\render\object.cfc. This method has package access and both the components are present in the same package. Yet the only way to fix this seems to be changing the access from package to public. Though the website still works with package access in Cold Fusion 8. Would like to know why does this error occur all by itself?Or has some configuration changed in Cold Fusion 10 for this error to occur?
