A special shoutout to ahmet_idal for sharing that clearing your site cookies resolved the issue for them! [check their demo in the highlighted reply 👇]

While downloading directly from your Generation History also works, it’s still just a backup option. For anyone looking to ‘fix’ the download button getting stuck for future attempts, here's what to try in the meantime:

1. Clear your site cookies for Firefly
2. Refresh the page

We're continuing to dig into this on our end, so please keep sharing any new details if you run into the issue again. We'll update this thread as soon as we have more to share.

je ne peux plus télécharger les images que je crée avec mon compte payant (un bug ?)
Je possède un compte payant. Dans l’onglet générer, je génère généralement des images que j’utilise pour une création commerciale. Mais, depuis hier (le 18 juin 2026), lorsque je clique sur l’icone télécharger, le téléchargement ne se fait pas… pourtant il est écrit téléchargement en bas de l’écran, mais il reste indéfiniment. C’est embêtant !

O adobe firefly congelou na tentativa de donwload e mesmo eu limpando cache, dados de navegação, sempre que retorno fica travado em "baixando..." e mesmo cancelando não cancela e demais artes feitas posteriores não baixam.

I'm trying to download an image and it's frozen
I’m trying to download an image and it’s frozen in the “downloading” state. It will perform other image generation but it has been like this for 24 hours. Closing out and re-opening Firefly doesn’t help.

Firefly is not letting me download generated images for the past 2 days.
After generating an image. when I click download, the image does not download. When I refresh the page, it just hangs and still does not download, when I restart the browser, it doesn't download, when I restart my pc, it doesn't download.

Still can't download after using any of the Gemini products. Am still having to work around this by sharing to Adobe Express and downloading from there.
Download feature stalls when using any of the Gemini products. This has been happening for over a week. Logging out and going back to Generation History does not solve the problem for me. I am working around it by sharing to Adobe Express and downloading there.

If you have problems with downloads from Firefly, empty your cache memory (photoshop and finder). It works!
