Digital Editions

How do I establish how many devices I have ADE authorized/activated on?I often update and gain access to new Windows, Android and Apple devices and need to know that those old devices which I no longer own are not registered/authorized with my ADE credentials.

Hi there, I have a problem since a few days, I can't open my ACSM files using Adobe Digital Editions, because when I try to open one I've got the message "Digital Editions could not connect to the activation server. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet."I've tried to uninstall ADE, install 3.0, unauthorize/authorize my Adobe ID, nothing works, still got the message above. I've got the latest version of the software (4.5.11.187303).Any help out here please ? 

I bought one book for my kid and it's impossible to open it ... I always receive the same message "Failed to get the license. Communication problems with the license server" PLEASE HELP ME! I'm getting crazy with this!!!

I have a KOBO account licenced to me which uses ADE to unlock DRM Books. Recently VS 4.5.11 would not open books there forethey could not be imported into my Calibre Library. I have uninstalled V4.5.11 and reinstalled VS 3 but still get the error.  Adobe Digital Editions Error Getting Licence. Licence Server Communication Problem: E-LICENCE-ALREADY-FULFILLED-BY-ANOTHER-USER I have installed ADE V4.2 on another  PC thinking that may solve the issue however it gives me the same error.I have approx 10 + books that I have downloaded from Kobo that I am unable to open as they are DRM protected and won't import into Calibre due to being locked by the latest verson that is not working.THIS PROGRAM IS NOT SUPPORTED BY EMAIL or CHAT FUNCTION having been through at least 3 consultats on chat this morning and being referred to Billing as the final consultant.  Prior to that on Chat the consultant just kept refering me to Help Pages that I have already read. CHAT "I c

Hi, After downloading the latest version Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11, I'm unable to read books in my eReader. I tried deauthorization both ADE and Koboreader, and re-authorize again, it's still didn't work even though it says that my account is authorize. What is the problem? Please help

Curious if anybody might know what is causing this.  I am able to open a .acsm book, but in order to go to the next or any other page, I have to click on the scroll bar or use the table of contents to determine the page, then change the Page View.  If I don't change the Page View, the page just freezes where it is even though the page number at the bottom changes.  The issue is not the book since I am able to view it fine on my desktop.  The problem occurs on my laptop.  Any ideas?

Hi! I have Windows 10, and ADE worked perfectly on my laptop until recently. Now I can't even launch the program: it shows it's launching and then stops doing so. I tried reinstalling; it didn't work. What shall I do?

Adobe Digital Editions keeps freezing everytime I open it. I cannot read my textbook. I have tried several things to try and get it working again with no success. Is there anyway to get it working or is there someeone I can contact who can help?

Hello everyone! I've just downloaded an eBook and am reading it in Adobe Digital Editions, yet when I try to highlight some sentences, the command appears but is disabled so I can't click on it.Can someone help me solve this? Thanks

Bonjour j'ai une liseuse KOBO depuis octobre 2020. Tout allait jusqu'au début de l'année 2021 ou il y a eu des mise a jour soit sur la lisuese ou l'application ADE. et depuis, j'ai toujours un message d'erreur lorsuqe je veux ouvrir un livre emprunter de la bibliothèque de ma ville qui dit que je ne suis pas autoriser  (DRM) Par contre, j'ai beau installer désinstaller les applications donner et enlever les autorisations,  rien à faire. Je ne peux plus lire les livres que j'emprunte. 😞 quelqu'un peut m'aider !  

I can't use anymore my book reader because each time  i try to match my adobe id with the app mlol, a red error says that too much devices have been  activated with the same id...But it's not true!!! I used only one app in the same device, but for many times I installed and disinstalled the same app untill was unusefull to subscribe the adobe id.. Please, solve this problem!!

I only have one device (Android phone) I use with Adobe id. After an update I had to reinstall the app I use for e-books. When I tried to activate my phone again I got the message that my adobe id is used on too many devices. Now I can't read anything. How do I fix this? I have  checked "sessions" and my phone is the only device active.  

I made a purchase of a book that shows up on my laptop version of the adobe digital editions but does not show up when i sign into my adobe digital editions app on the ipad. please help on how the same book can be viewed on ipad version digital adobe version. 

I'm trying to open my digital workbook, but the link keeps trying to open in the acrobat reader not the adobe digital editions.  (I have both dowloaded on computer-using windows 7 system) How can I get the file to open in the correct adobe?

I am unable to use my kobo glo.  I keep getting a message on my ereader stating the device is not authorized.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe digital editions 4.5.  I have erased the authorization for my laptop and then reauthorized the computer.  I have done the same with the ereader.    On my laptop, the adobe digital edition screen states the ereader is authorized, but the ereader says it is not authorized.  Please help.

Hi, I purchased a pdf version of "Life in the UK". I printed a few pages, it was ok.I wanted to print the rest, hit the CANCEL button in the meanwhile.Now the PRINT box in Adobe Digital Editions is shaded (inactive). What should I do to be able to print the rest? Regards Maciej

Hey, hope someone can help me.  I downloaded a book from my uni library and editions says its open but nothing happens, i followed the advice on here and went to download earlier 3.0 version of editions, nothing happened after multiple attempts, with version 4.5 not working and 3.0 not downloading can anybody suggest a fix at all? i need to get this research done.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi, I've recently started managing an online eBook retail store that makes use of Adobe protected content so our customers use Digital Editions to access the books. I've had 3 cases within the last hour of people reporting the same error and I haven't found a single solution or help from Adobe. I've had them uninstall and reinstall the software, but it still doesn't work. The issue is also only occuring on their PC. I've had them install the app on their phone/tablet and then it works fine, however, for some reason the PC is where the issue is every time.They've also gone through the support steps found on Adobe and verified their versions of Digital Editions, but they still cant access their books on their PC's Is there anyone that has a fix for this? This is extremely fruststrating and embarassing since I have no exact fix to give my customers

Hi,I can not scroll down or turn pages in any of my books. I have the books downloaded, they are manuals for work. They appear to have downloaded fine. Adobe help desk said to post my question here as they have 'limited support' for this ADE. My computer is authorized. I can't even turn the pages for the 'getting started with ADE' book. So all books are completly unusable.Thanks.

I have purchased a number of books from Kobo and managed to successfully download half of them. With the remainder I get the error message                     _CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED- No permission to copy the book.It is clearly an ADE problem so Kobo are not interested and Sony have given up any support since they sold out to Kobo. Any ideas?

Buen dia, me descargue un ebook y me dice error al importar el contenido. Ya autorice, desautorice y volvi a autorizar pero me sigue apareciendo el error. 

I'm wondering if there is a variable view of fonts for the digital edition.  I need more than the x2 but less than the x3 size.  I am straining my eyes to read my textbook for my course.  Is there any way I can make the font bigger without having to use the mouse to move the screen from side to side?  My kindle can change the font and it rearranges the text to accommodate the size change.  Can the adobe digital editions do this?  Unfortunately, my textbook doesn't come in kindle format.  Can someone advise me, please?Thanks 

Hi,I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 and when viewing text, any command made does not trigger a response, e.g. whenever I try to scroll down a page or select another page, the program doesn't respond as it should. Only when minimizing, then maximizing the window again, does the selected command trigger a response. Any assistance here would be greatly appreciated.
