[Posted this on Feb 10, no reply. Adobe customer service advised that I repost]. Using the latest version of ADE, I'm trying to open an old .acsm file (from 2013). Running MacOS Big Sur 11.2.1 I'm getting the following error message: Connection Error Detected Digital Editions. Could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet. I am definitely connected to the internet. There's no firewall or anything. I've looked around the forum here and found no solution. Someone found that using ADE 3.0 worked for them, but 3.0 does not work on Big Sur apparently. Someone else found that ADE 4.0 works, but I cannot find a download for that. Please advise ASAP. I just spent like 3 hours on your customer service chat being transferred to 5 different people only to be told to post here.

I know there are lots of posts about this error and I have basically the same problem - try to open a book and get this error.  So I try to deauthorize my computer and it won't let me.  I go to the registry delete the file I'm supposed to and then I'm able to authorize my computer again and able to download the book.  The problem is that this happens EVERY single time I plug in try to download a new book to my Kobo.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled ADE multiple times.  Running Windows 10. This is getting completely ridiculous; I should not have to edit the registry and go through this chaos every time I want to read a new book.Is there a permanent fix???

Hello everyone, When i open this specific ebook (in digital editions) it only lets me read the first 6 pages while it counts at least 21 pages. The book has been laid for so it can't be a trail version. What can i do?

The email with which I signed up with Adobe stopped working because the service provider closed. Therefore, after several years I had to update my email in my Adobe account. But this meant that my Adobe Digital Editions ID changed and now I cannot read or download my e-books. When trying to open any of my books or download them again I get this error message: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER This means that the application interprets that the book belongs to another user, even though it is the same account, only that the ID varied. I cannot change my email back to the previous one because it no longer exists and, therefore, I cannot enter the code that is sent to that non-existent email to make the change. The Adobe Digital Edition application is authorized with my only account, but with a different ID that I cannot change again. So all my digital books bought over the years have been lost. I have them downloaded on my computer, but I cannot open them in the ADE app, nor do a ne

Can this error be fixed? I want to authorize the Android app.

I have read e-books with Adobe Digital Edition -program but now, suddenly the programm even won't open at all. I have tried to uninstall and install the program many times, but it doesn't work. I do not understand what has happened, 'cause before it worked very well and I didn't have any problems.Now it is quite hard, because I can not read those books that I would like to.My computers settings have been the same way as before...Some help please!

Hello everybody. I have a problem: I use a PC with Windows X regulary updated. I used Adobe Digital Editions without problems until few days ago. I was downloading a new ebook that i bought as always on the official home page of a book dealer and while downloading I connected my ereader to the PC. In the same moment Digital Editions crashed. Since then, no matter how many times I tried unistall and reinstall the program, every time I try to open it clicking on the icon a circle on the icon round up few times and that's all. The windows of the program doesn't open up anymore. There is someone who had the same problem?Thank you in advance. 

Bonjour,Je suis incapable d'ouvrir les fichiers acsm sur mon ordinateur de bureau.  J'ai un Windows 10, mon navigateur est Microsoft Edge.  Quand j'ai voulu télécharger Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11, le téléchargement ne s'est pas effectué.  Adobe digital 4.5.11 est sur mon bureau et m'amène à Bibliorooms.Quand je viens pour ouvrir les livres numériques que j'empruntent de ma bibliothèque, je ne peux pas les ouvrir ni les télécharger.Que puis-je faire pour régler mon problème?Merci

When trying to access one of my purchased Ebooks on a different computor I get a message that Computor Authorisation is needed. Part of that requirement is my Idobe ID. What is my Adobe ID? 

Hi, Yesterday I bought a book, downloaded the ascm file and when opening it in Adobe Digital Editions I got the error: Error getting License. License ServerCommunication Problem:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12 and I'm unable to open / read the book.  The last time I successfully bought and opened a book was in June 2020. I think I changed the main email address and possibly the password for my Adobe Id between June and now. I'm not sure if that's the issue? Next I tried to de-authorise (Erase Computer Authorisation) and I see indeed that the drop down email address is the one I used before with my Adobe Id not my currently used email address. I first tried using my current Adobe Id password to de-authorise and next my previously used password (I have the password history in 1password) but both don't work.  I get the error message: "Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try again after some time." I also tried to change the main email for my Adobe Id b

J'ai un abonnement avec la médiathèque numérique de mon département et c'est le seul moyen d'importer les eBooks empruntés sur ma liseuse.J'ai eu une première expérience concluante sur mon iMac et à l'essai suivant j'ai reçu ce message d'erreur = Erreur lors de l'obtention de la licence. Problème de communication avec le serveur de licences : E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIREDJ'ai tenté de désactiver/réactiver ma clé de licence, j'ai même supprimé/réinstallé l'application, le message d'erreur persiste.J'ai donc installé Adobe Editions sur mon MacBook cette fois-ci. Je me suis identifiée avec le même identifiant donc le même compte Adobe. Idem la première fois ça a marché. Et aujourd'hui je réessaye d'importer de nouveaux eBooks et le même message apparaît sur mon MacBook aussi Je reçois ce message d'erreur :  Erreur lors de l'obtention de la licence. For weeks I cannot get the iOS app of digital editions to sync with the account it is authorized with. After all traditional troubleshooting tactics I am at a loss. 

I downloaded an e-book, from the library that works with Adobe. The text is very small and hard to read. The option to enlarge the text is there but does not work. Please help?

Hello there is someone who can help me too, I have this type of error: Error getting license. License server Comunication Problem: E_ADEPT_ REQUEST_EXPIRED  for Adobe Digital Edition 4.5 I tried everything that appears on the Adobe support page but I didn't succeed.

I borrowed an e-book from the Freadimg app, the book is called "102 Haiku Journal Syllable to Say it all" and when it converts from ACSM TO EPUB format fulfilled the Pinch to Zoom or Enlarge in Adobe Digital Editions doesn't work. Is there a workaround? Any suggestions  

Can anyone explain this message when trying to authorize digital editions.

I activated an ebook without my adobe ID on PC, and now I also want to read it on my ipad. But even though I have signed in with my adobe ID on the ipad, I cannot transfer it. Can I somehow change the activation to that specific ID? Otherwise, I bought a book and cannot read it now, so that should be considered scam.
