Hi, I bought a book to read with ADE and I maxed it on the 6 PC.  Problem, at least two of them were Windows 7 that were migrated to Window10, but they still keep those linceces.  I can't go back on those PC to reset them, now that they have been migrated.Is there a way to reset all 6 instances?  I opened case ADB-13940462-V6V1. Have a nice day! Ovronnaz75

I had bought an epub book earlier this year and now that I need to use it again, the program says "Activation Server Error". My laptop's motherboard has been replaced since the time I first purchased the book. I tried to change my Adobe ID password, tried to downlaod the book again and even updated ADE, to no avail. Where do I find the place where I can reauthorize or activate the program? 

I've moved to iPad 11 pro from previous IPAD , since then I cannot read any books in my DE App , when I click on any of them the app just crashesI tried to reinstall the APP , no benefitI tried to deauthorize and authorize again , still not working Does anyone had the same issue ?thanks

Trying to authorise ADE after first purchase of eBook.I logged in to Adobe but did not receive an ID - just redirected to a Cloud ad.Now, on the 'authorise your computer' box, it is asking for 'Adobe ID'. What is this?I've tried the login used for Adobe but its being rejected.

My computer hard drive died and can't be accesses. I can't remember if I had an ID for my purchases or whether it was anonymous, but either way I can't get the books now on my newly installed hard drive. Is there any way of locating an old id. I have tried my old email addresses and likely passwords to no avail. My purchases were between 2009 and 2016

Hi All,I'm trying to authorize a new device but this problem is happen. I tried to ask ustomer support via Chat but they told me to write it on forum wait for an expert to answer. I also search many solutions but still failed. Anybody can help me to resolve this problem 😞 Many Thanks,   

I am a librarian and I frequently am providing education, training, and troubleshooting support for eBooks and their related software.I have twice now been unable to get Windows 10 to set ADE as the default application for .acsm files.I have tried:Uninstalling and reinstalling ADE 3.0 and 4.5.4. (more than once)set default applications by file type (not given as an option)set default applications by app (it doesn't even show up in the app list)resetting default applications and trying againauthorising and deauthorizing (because I was out of ideas)None of these options work. It's as if Windows doesn't recognise ADE as an app. I don't expect any help because I saw pretty much the same question on here that Adobe has ignored for months already. But I'm out of ideas.

In which case can I authorize by Google? And why this option did not work?

Has anyone heard of Digital Editions being develop[ed for the iPad?

I use ADE for epub files. It worked well until a while ago. I cannot open epub files now. When I open them wth ADE, it just shows me the blank home screen of the application. Do I need additional software to make it work? Cz I recently uninstalled unnecessary programs, and maybe I removed some required adobe software too.

The file (an advance copy of a book) appears in the library but it won't open. The same file does open fine on my Mac and with a digital reader, but the app. There are no error messages. I deleted the app and reinstalled it but no luck. The app and OS are both the latest versions and the account is authorized. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would like to erase (permanently) a series of acsm files (some of them not working) that are probably in a cloud (they reappear whenever I install and authorize my iPad).May somebody help me?

hi, i installed adobe digital edition in my ipad and also iphone.then i go to digital book shelf in bokus.se, i downloaded my e-books, when it load adobe digital edition software, it always gave an error:“unable to download. Error getting license. License server communication problem. E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER”.But I always used the same adobe id (my email) in all places. i called customer service of bokus.se, they said it is probably i access adobe digital edition as guest before, in 2019, now today i re-installed it and registered formally with adobe id and password. so adobe may treat my previous guest idenitity and current formal identity differently. so the e-books which i can download and read before, not recognized now. i hope bokus can help solve this problem, while i am waiting, i really hope someone can give advice or share experience.                  thanks.

I have used ebooks from local library for a few years with no issues but today when I tried to move books from adobe to my Nook I got message 'Failed to write destination file' for every book I tried. I am on a new laptop so not sure if that's part of the issue or not.

I have been trying to add a post regarding transferring a download from library (acsm) to my kobo). Nowhere can a find an area to post my request?? Finding your community help area vary hard to navigate🥵🥵

I downloaded this and installed this today. I created an ID and password.  The adobe website recognizes this ID and password, but the APP does not. how do I get this fixed? I see a couple of updates today on the app, could this be part of the problem?  Any help is appreciated.

When trying to download books in .pdf or .epub format, this is the message I receive from ADE ver 4.5.11"Unable to downloadError getting licence. Server communication problemE_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12"It has worked for months and within the last week there are problemsHelp would be greatly appreciated.

I have installed latest ADE version to my Windows 10 computer. ADE tells me the computer is authorized. When I download a book from my library I get the following message -- Unable to Download, Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem. E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR. I have a KOBO Clara Reader. 

Can someone help me? I'm unable to open my Adobe Digital Edition on my laptop.Thanks

I want to be able to read my ebooks while I'm away from home, so I downloaded Digital Editions on my phone, and connected my adobe account to my phone. I noticed that I still didn't have the ebooks from my computer's Digital Editions. I thought that connecting your account would allow you to read ebooks from other devices, but apparently that's not how it works. When I tried looking up how to transfer books, one of the ways you could do it involves plugging your phone into your computer, and then downloading it from there, but only certain devices can do that. Also, when I did plug my phone into my computer, it didn't show up on my computer's Digital Editions, I even plugged my phone into my computer before I opened Digital Editions up, but it didn't work. Is there any way I can transfer my ebooks over to my phone aside from using a USB drive? Thanks.

When I try to erase the authorisation in Digital Editions to afterwards authosise again (as advised), I get the message that I am not connected to the internet (when clearly I am).I have activation problems with English books only, not with Dutch books. Can you help ?
