Digital Editions

When I open ADE, it now opens up with a blank screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times. Operating System - Windows 10 

I have a macbook pro and when I try to open an acsm file I get an error message.  I read online to deauthorize and reauthorize ADE, however, I keep receiving a message that I cannot deauthorize and to try later.  Does anyone know how I can deauthorize it?  If not, how do I complete remove ADE from my mac so that if/when I reinstall it, it asks me to authorize, instead of pulling up my authorization info.[Moved from non-technical Forum Lounge to specific Program forum... I recently bought and downloaded a long, complex (and expensive!) text book which I really need to be able to search on. The search box in Adobe Digital Editions does not function for this book (rectangular search box upper right). Anything entered in the search box simple returns 'No match'. It is a pdf, converted from acsm. I am using a Mac. There are one or two similar posts but I can't see any resolution for this anywhere.

Hi!I have a problem with a DRM-protected book I'm reading as part of my education. When I am at home I like to read it on my stationary PC. When I am in class I use my laptop. I use highlighting a lot. How come the same book on the same account do not synchronize my highlighting from both computers? I Have a PC with a Program Partition and a Data Partition - The ADE Content is Hogging My Program Partition 100 GB is 87 Percent Full less than 3GB Free & The Data Partition is 99 Percent Empty Need to Move the ADE Content to the Data Partition ???  How Can I do this - Do I need to Reinstall ADE ???  Please Help Me !!

Hi,I recently downloaded Digital to read a borrowed book from ProQuest with a school account. However, I cannot seem to access the edit menu in order to highlight, make notes, etc. The permissions on the file are all open for access. Please help. Thanks.  

I cannot open ebooks with adobe digital editions 4.5.I contacted Adobe and the onely thing they say is: go to the forumBut I have seen that more people have this problem and I have not found the solution I think it is a shame that Adobe does not help

How do I delete the Adobe Editions authorisation linked to an old Adobe Account with an email that doesn't exist anymore and which I can't remember the password? I have tons of books in a recent account I want to read in an another MacBook Pro running MacOS Catalina but Digital Editions in this MacBook Pro is locked to this old Adobe Account with the email that doesn't exist anymore and which password I can't remember. 

Hi When I try to authorize my ADE it says the vendor account is not associated with the item. I am trying to download an ebook via the adobe digital library. Help

I downloaded an E-book and the search function (to search the book for a specific word) does not work. How can I fix this? Thanks!

I have digital editions but need to erase authorisation and reauthorise it to make my Kobo e-reader work as it has stopped allowing DRM protected books from the library (Kobo said this is what I need to do).The account is registered to an old email I no longer use. Although I updated my email and password the pop up box in digital editions is only recognising my old email and wont let me change it. And I cannot remember the password I used with Digital Editions. It won't let me enter my new email or password. I am working on a Mac. Any idea how to solve this?

Ichhabe meine Adobe Digital Edition mit eine falschen und nicht mehr existenten Adobe ID authorisiert. Jetzt möchte ich diese Authorisierung löschen und eine neue einrichten  Funktioniert aber nicht. Nach Deinstallation und neuer Installation von ADE ist die immer noch die alte Authorisierung gültig.Was kann ich tun

How can I authorize my new computer??? Says easy. But when giving my ADE id it says that cannot authorize any new devices with profile used to authorize any other device. And cannot create new id as already exists! So when I connect my KOBO reader I can download the purchased book, but not allowed to read it. I can however read it on the laptop!!!!!! the new one. Feels very confusing.

How do I access ebooks that are registered under an inactive email where I do not remember the password

So my Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 decided on Tuesday night that it would no longer open. Everytime I click on it my comupter says it is thinking about it and then just nothing happens. I have been using digital editions to read all my ebooks for the last year or two and I have never had a problem with it. It has always worked really well. I have tried shutting my laptop down and restarting and even uninstalling ADE and then redownloading it and reinstalling it, and still the same thing happens.The last time it worked, it was open on my laptop Tuesday afternoon. My laptop unexpectantly died due to it not being plugged in. When I restarted my laptop ADE would no longer open, but everything else works fine.If anyone knows a solution for this problem I would be very thankful! 

I try to authorize Digital Editions on my PC but it says "Incorrect login ID or password for the selected eBook vendor. Please try again"The vendor is Adobe ID and I use the same ID and password as to login to adobe.com so they're definitevely correct.

I downloaded the ebooks on the notebook. I authorized ebooks. With that I had access to the content through the computer. It happens that now through the notebook I no longer have access. How to solve this

Hi, I can normally log into my Adobe ID from my browser, but when I try to authorize my computer in Adobe Digital Editions I get this error: "Incorrect login ID or password for the selected eBook vendor. Please try again". As eBook vendor I selected Adobe ID. The login ID and password I use are the same that work flawlessly while logging in from the browser.

Hi I'm trying to authorize my computer for using Adobe Digital Editions but it when I fill my login and password it gives me the message 'incorrect ID/password for this ebook provider . try again' . Any solutions ?
