Digital Editions

I purchased a textbbook from Google play store and used Digital Edition to view it as a PDF. All of the figure images are black. All the colors are available in the textbook except for the figure images. How can it be fixed?

hola gente, compre unos libros por la red, y desde mi mac tuve que bajar el adobe digital editions. fui instalando el programa y pude leerlos sin colocar una cuenta de adobe. cuando quise mirarlos desde mi ipad no pude hacerlo ya que tuve que colocar una cuenta y no me permite abrir el link del libro que compre que lo tengo por mail. alguien me puede ayudar a destrabar esta cuestion. desde la computadora tampoco puede entrar a un lugar donde pueda ver usuario, o algo que me permita sincronizar con el ipad.

I am trying to upload a book to my Kobo.  When I upload the book to ADE, ADE freezes.  Also if I just open up ADE and connect my KOBO to it, when I right click on my KOBO it shuts down.

I am trying to download ADE 3.0 but get the error message "Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1.  Please istall and try again.  When asked if I would like to  proceed to .NET download page and I select YES I get an error message.  What can I do?

I have downloaded the digital editions software(ade 4.5.11 windows) to download from my online university library site (free) and ebook from booktopia (bought).Initially I was able to download acsm files and when clicking to open it, then it asked computer to authorise.I authorised using adobe id for university ebooks and booktopia id for paid ebook but cannot download as it says " E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED error when downloading a book"        Previously I was able to get acsm file at least before the appearance of book in the library page of ade icon.Now even acsm step is not happening. PLEASE PLEASE HELP AS I NEED TO READ THIS BOOKTOPIA EBOOK(PAID) for my assignment.also I am not able to download free university ebooks. Remote helper spent 1one hour on this and couldnot solve this and told that WRITING ON THIS POST , SOMEONE WILL CONTACT ME WITHIN 24 HOURS VIA EMAIL TO HELP. my email is(pradipbains@hotmail.com)

How do I print a book from ADE at a public library? I do not own a printer and will have to use one at the library.

Hi -- my ADE was working fine until a couple days ago, and now every time I try to download a library ebook, I get the e_adept_document_too_short error. I have tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have tried downloading the newest edition, the oldest edition, no luck. I'm so frustrated right now. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Using Firefox, just installed, keeps crashing & can not authorise computer

Adobe Digital Editions won't open after Windows 10 update.  I've uninstalled ADE and reinstalled from their web page.  I have -RESET- Windows 10; I have -REFRESH- the darn thing twice.  The digital editions window makes a small splash page and stops.  I can not get it to do anything.  I close it down with Task Manager.  

I found some EPUBs cannot be loaded correctly. This issue happened on all platforms (Windows, Android, iOS. I don't have mac devices, but I guess it would exist on mac as well). SCENARIO 1: Non-English Characters cannot be displayed correctly.Not all EPUB files have this problem.SCENARIO 2: Photos cannot be displayed completely in screen.Again, not all files have this problem. As I cannot attach a file, I can only show screenshots here.For this issue, one of the reasons I guess is the picture is much larger than the screen. But why not zoom it to show a full scene? I have sample files for the two issues. So please let me know how I can send you.

Hi I would like to know how I can delete books from the library I tried removing them but later when I open digital editions again it still appears and the same book creates a copy as wellDoes it have anything to do with my ID registration? Also, I want to know how I can keep the books I download for a long period of timeEven when they are deleted from my computer, they still appear in the softwareHow do I delete books that I do not need from my computer that uses an authorised ID for digital editions?I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software It still doesn't work out PLEASE LET ME KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE because I need it for my studies.I will be downloading them again later properly for use but as of now, I would like to know how to delete them from my account library. thanks, and I hope to hear a response very soon.AG

When I move a book that I have dowloaded from Libbyto the Adobe digital I get an error"Unable to download""error getting license server communication problemE_ADEPT _DOCUMENT_OPEN_ERROR"what's it mean?

I had to update my operating system to Windows 10. Now I cannot access Adobe books (digital editions). I can find the titles and bookmarks but Adobe ID won't give authorisation even though I have entered my ID and password (which I reset with the assistance of an Abobe operative online). If I have to scrap my Adobe books that would make me very unhappy.

I am using Windows 10 with the NOOK app version 1.10.1.15 as well as ADE version 4.5.8.183423. When attempting to open epub files downloaded to my computer via the NOOK app in ADE, I am presented with a "Protected Content" dialogue in ADE (screenshot below).  I attempted to use my B&N payment address name and credit card number as indicated within the B&N help provided at the link below to no avail: https://help.barnesandnoble.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2033/~/unlocking-nook-content What information is required to unlock such a file? I hit up B&N support on their chat and they basically told me to get with ADE support. Thank you.

I have downloaded a purchased book by creating an AdobeID- 1st signing in Adobe Digital with my ApppleID- Downloaded the book on my computer- asked Adobe CSR change the funky email by my email address in the account I try to download to my Ipad and it is telling me that the book was first downloaded with another account ...

I have purchased an eBook and I downloaded it and opened it on the application "Adobe Digital Editions" before authorizing my computer on "Adobe Digital Editions" using my Adobe ID; after I authorized my computer, I am not able to open eBook agian, and when I try to download the eBook file again, it gives me a message that the eBook is associated with another user, is there a way to resolve this issue?

For the past month or so can't open the ADEapp on my windows 10 desktop. I had authorised it and had used it for a couple of months, prior to the start of this problem. Any ideas as to how to sort it out?

I have a downloaded asm file in the Acrobat folder on my iPad but do not know how to get it loaded into the Digital Editions app in order to be able to get & read the actual pdf file.  Any suggestions?

I use MBP with Catalina 10.15.3, ADE 4.5.11, Tolino Vision 3HD (disigned by Kobo, I think) with firmware 13.2.1.Downloading and reading eBooks from public library with ADE is perfect. Everytime I connect the reader with the MacBook it lasts 3 or 4 seconds and ADE crashes. So transfer of eBooks to the reader is impossible.Would be happy to get help, because the so called "onleihe" (means public library via internet to load epub-files) is not able to communicate with the producers of Tolino to realize direct downloading from the library.Thanks for help.ManneC

When I try to read a book in Adobe Digital Editions, it asks me for authorization, and when I put the password appears the message:"The provider account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open", and I cant read it. This is because I've change the OS in my iMac. Could you help me?

Hello, I have ADE 4.5.11 on two windows 10 laptops (latest windows 10 release) and on android 10All 3 are regsitered with the same adobe ID but synching of DRM ePUB is not working!!anyone else have this issue ? Any idea on how to solve this ?
