Hi!I been experiencing issues with my Adobe ID. I had an account that I don´t remember the password for (or which email address I used to sign up - in fact I can’t recall using one at all). I used this account to read eBooks bought online on my computer. I have now bought an eBook-reader and to sync the books I already own with the reader I must use my old Adobe ID account. I have been in contact with the company selling the books and the reader and they said that this is a problem that only you can solve. I am writing this from my new Adobe ID account.How do we go about solving this issue?Thanks in advance,Anna

I recently installed a new hard drive on my computer and now Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 does not work anymore.  I get the above error code when I try to open one of my e-books.

I'm running Windows 10 and the latest version of ADE.I borrowed a book through Overdrive and downloaded the .ascm file for it. When I try to open the file in ADE (either through double-clicking it or drag-dropping it into ADE), it begins to import with the 'Downloading Content...' dialog progress bar filling up. But when it seems like it should complete (progress bar full, 'Cancel' button deactivates), the dialog drops into the background but doesn't actually close. From this point ADE is locked up and I need to have Windows kill ADE.When I reopen ADE, the book I was trying to import is in ADE, but if I try to open it, ADE locks up again. If I try to copy it over to my Nook, it also locks up.The 'Welcome' ebook in ADE still opens as expected.I've tried uninstalling ADE, rebooting, and then re-installing ADE and I get the same behavior. I've also tried re-downloading the .ascm file from Overdrive.Any advice on how to get ADE to work properly?Thanks!

Dear community, I use NVDA screen reader with no issues and all apps. But, recently, I trying to read an e-Book on ADE and the screen reader doesn't work. There's no option in ADE or NVDA, Someone knows how to solve this situation?Best Regards,

Need specific step by step directions to download library books to my Nook.  I have adobe digital editions 4.5 but I can't get the download onto the nook

Kia ora! I was asked to merge a digitally signed pdf form and the signed word document. I google searched and it seems it is impossible to edit anything on the signed pdf file and to keep the digital signatures. Does anyone know how? Or is it possible at all?Thanks!

Unable to download.  Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12 I received the above message when trying to download a book from the University of Chicago to Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 e-reader.  I used the chat from Adobe and the "expert!!" there could not help me.  She referred me here.  I went into my Utilities folder, opened the keychain access and authorized the device, but I still get the above error. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

I am the only user. This is @#$%^&(windows 10. I cannot read library ebooks at all because of this error. I spent almost an hour today I had to reset the password several times.setting passwords. any more every time I log into adobe. I have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe digital editions. These books will not open in anything else , will they? I remember it as a nice reader, but it has been while since it worked.Does anything else open ebooks from the library? .ACM?I am ready to try to replace all my adobe stuff after being a member and user for about 22 or so years. I have created an Adobe account and when I went to download to Digital edition, I accidently clicked to authorise without account. How do I reverse this. Also, I cannot download from Digital Edition to my Kobo.

HiI have recently downloaded an eBook onto my laptop, but now when I use Adobe Digital Editions on my phone or my tablet that eBook is not showing on either of those two devices. I have authorised my laptop, phone and tablet all with the same Adobe account, but for some reason this eBook is not showing on my phone or my tablet. I have also updated my Adobe Digital Editions on all my devices so that I have the latest version on each device, but this didn't seem to solve the problem. If anyone has any possible suggestions of how I can get the eBook to show on my phone and my tablet I would greatly appreciate any advice.

I am looking for the right software package to write an ebook with embedded videos. I will be writing repair manuals and then putting them on a customer portal. So after trying to speak to Adobe I have been left with little clear guidance from their various teams. I spent over two hours on the chat system without speaking to anyone with an iota of knowledge or comprehension of what I needed. I emailed ebooks@adobe.com twice and no joy there either, they have not had the decency to reply. I am hoping that someone here can help. Otherwise I will have to go elsewhere. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

I cannot add books from the library from Digital Editions to the KOB. I was using this fine last week. reinstalled and reauthorized. it now says copy not allowed". before it was refusing to open the books on my Kobo.L

I'm needing assistance in resetting the authorizations that are connected to my account, and have read that 24x7 chat is the way to go.However, they're being rather unhelpful in the matter.Can I please get somebody from the adobe support team to reset the authorizations done by this account for Adobe Digital Editions?Or does anybody from the community have any recommendations, bar biting the bullet and just making a new throwaway email and just doing that instead.
