Digital Editions

My Tablet operates Windows 10. I have downloaded Adobe Digital 4.5 to enable to read e-books. For some reason when  I download my vendors books the URLLink is Notepad and  the translation is gobbley-de-gook. How do I change the URLLink from Notepad to something that will give me  a readable document? I have tried a test book and that seems to be readable. It is my vendors books that I am unable to read.

I am at wits end. I've followed every single step, and uninstalled and re-installed Digital Editions Twice... here's what I get.Try again is POINTLESS. Is there any solution to this problem???

I use two computers (one of them a laptop); I have got problems with downloading ebooks with DRM protection. First the digital editions software didn't open, but the normal Adobe reader or when I tried to open the .acsm file it says "Fehler beim Abrufen der Lizenz Lizenzserver-Kommunikationsproblem: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER": I tried to deauthorize the digital editions and authorize it again using the same identity, but it got worse.All my old books are not accessible anymore. I never changed my identity, but now on both computers my ebooks can't be read anymore.

I am struggling to authorise my computer for Adobe Digital Edition. When I enter my adobe id and password I get the message E_AUTH_NOT_READY, so dont know what to do.I have tried creating a new ID but I get access denied.

I recently had to reinstall my Windows 10 operation system after an update hosed the system. I have been able to authorize my computer but when trying to open a book it asks that the computer be authorized and asks for my Adobe ID and password. I enter it and get this...

I downloaded the Adobe digital editions ebook reader and I am just lost for words on how terrible it is. I am taking a certification course for Pro Tools and for some reason Avid had the idea to support this application.#1. Absolutely no navigation through my ebook works in it's entirety. If I use the directional pads on my laptop it works fine going forward though single pages but when I use the left arrow key it to go back to the previous page it jumps to a random page at least 20 pages back and eventually the directional pads stop working and I get the error sound. This problem also occurs when using the track pad or the scroll wheel on a mouse.#2 So then I try to use the navigation panel to go to specific points in a chapter and the results are; it will either jump to the only first page in the chapter or the to the page just before the lesson with in the chapter that I select. #3 When annotating the text it occasionally places the text box no where near the selected word I chose.

Hi I know this question has been asked before, but no answers to date. Can anyone help?I note that after I did the highlighting files appeared in an annotatations folder, but no idea how to bring the highlighting up again.

I've tried downloading my Digital editions with both Windows and MacIntosh and they say that the downloads were successful. However, when I try to download and open my textbook, it only shows the ghost of a window opening before it closes completely and acts like it was never there. I can't figure out what to do and I'm missing assignments as we speak. The support hasn't been much help, I've been in a chatroom, just waiting, for an hour after being transferred so I'm just flailing trying to find a solution. Please help!

I have three ebooks that should be installed into my android tablet. The install process requires my tablet to download Bluefire reader app. I did. But, Bluefire reader requires me to login to the Adobe Reader. My login was a yahoo mail with password that I cannot recover.How can I do this? it does not allow me to make a new one because this book I downloaded into a desktop before and used the same yahoo mail so I have to use the same one to download the same book into this tablet.please help some ideas.thanksKM

Hi,  now and then I buy English books online at Bol.com  So far so good, I can download them and copy them to my Calibre library.  However when I copy them to my Tolino e-reader they do not open.  I get the error : the Adobe ID is not the same as the Adobe ID on your Tolino e-reader (E_ADEPT_CORE_USER_NOT_ACTIVATED)What do I do wrong ??  I can read the books on my laptop through Adobe Digital Editions but would love to read them on my e-reader.

In the last two months many of our customers have encountered problems of authentication of licenses using Adobe Digital Edition app on IOS devices.The problem detected is: "Connection Error Detected.  Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server.  Please make sure you are connected to the internet."We have tested it using different mobile operators and wifi connections but the problem still remains.Does anyone else have similar problems? Is there any kind of solution?The same license activated on other apps like Bluefire Reader on the same device works correctly.Please Adobe fix this problem.Best regardsMattia

Buenas. Llevo tiempo usando Adobe Digital Editions en diferentes equipos, para ser exactos 6 equipos que ahora ya no tengo y que cuando vendí o mandé a reciclar me olvidé de desautorizar. Me gustaría saber como puedo desautorizar a estos equipos para poder autorizar los nuevos equipos y no tener riego de perder mi biblioteca. Son todos iPad y Mac.Gracias.

Firstly, I am a mac user and have a kobo which  I have struggled with for 5 years using ADE with overdrive to download books to  my kobo. a month or so,I was told to go to "Go" on my computer, go to "go to folder" and delete the dat file in there. I did and this worked for a bit. When it no longer worked I deleted ADE 3.0 that I had been using and downloaded ADE 4.5 It seemed fine and the icon for ADE came up and then died!#!! I tried it with ADE 3.0 and it also died as it came up. What now? This problem with ADE is very frustrating, I have bought 3 Kobo's hoping a newer model would help, spent countless hours authorizing, reauthorizing and just tearing out my hair. Hello I just purchased an ebook on google play but I thought it would be a pdf file however it is an epub file. Is it possible to transfer it to my adobe reader or convert it to a pdf file? Thank you.

I have successfully downloaded library books into the ADE library on my MacBook Pro and am able to open and read them on this device.  However, when I try to transfer these downloaded library books onto my NOOK device, the title shows up in my Nook library, but when I click to open, I am instructed each time to enter my ADE email and password, and then when I do that, I get the message:  "Error opening book.  This book is not activated for current ADE users".  Three weeks ago, I had no problem with this.  What is going on?  How do I access my books on my NOOK?

Hello,We have created a booklet that is 196 pages, and successfully exported it as a press-ready pdf for printing and interactive pdf for online viewing. Our client has asked for it in an epub format.  We have exported test files and they open and are navigable in both iBooks and Microsoft Edge, but will not open in Adobe Digital Editions on a PC. We get no error message, but the twirling blue circle never stops until you quit the program.We have tried numerous options and looked at many forum answers, and still can't get this to work.  We have removed the TOC, removed all hyperlinks, made a new TOC for epub- again, all open in iBooks and Edge but not ADE. We have also tried exporting other brochures to epub and they will not open in ADE. If this is an ADE setting, we can fix it and send a tutorial for our client's customers, but we are really searching for some answers that will not require this. Our client's customers are PC-based.Any solutions are greatly appreciated, and
