Digital Editions

I checked out a textbook and made a bunch of annotations, highlights. My computer was acting up, so I had to clear the memory and reinstall Digital Editions. I have the saved ANNOTE file for the textbook which I'm guessing has all my info. I've re-checked out this textbook, and I'm wondering if there's a way to add those annotations using that ANNOTE file.Thanks!

Dear mister, miss, I filed a ticket yesterday as I am experiencing trouble transferring e-books from Kobo to ADE. I am unable to download them in ADE. I have been on the Phone with KOBO who referred ne to you and after a rather unsatisfying  chat conversation I was referred to some forum. I repeated my question and got an answer back that the problem was resolved. When testing, it appeared not to be resolved. I have spent a couple of hours already on trying to get this working and I am not able to get this up and running without your support.  Could you please advise on how to move forward and let me know what I can expect from you or what it is that you need from me to provide support? Hi  i would like to know why my adobe digital is not showing my ebooks in it when iit's open do you have any idea how to fix this problem ?

I'm running Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 on a Windows 7 computer.I was using Adobe Digital Edition unauthorized to read library eBooks, then decided to authorize it so I could access my library books elsewhere as well. I downloaded some books, then I started getting authentication errors. I couldn't erase the authorization through Adobe Digital Editions to try to redo it, I kept getting errors. I followed the instructions for editing the Registry, which removed the old authorization, and now I can select "authorize your computer". But when I enter my Adobe ID and password, I get the error message:"Digital Editions could not connect to the activation server. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet."My computer is connected to the Internet - that's how I'm connected to this discussion. I have uninstalled and re-installed Adobe Digital Editions, and the same thing happens.  Any suggestions? I prefer Adobe Digital Editions to alternatives, but if this activation problem can't

I am having huge issues getting my Adobe Digital Edition to have all it's features enabled, such as highlight. It seems many features are grey, and not available. My school won't help me, I'm at a loss, as it's very difficult to read and learn. I hope that a professional can help?Thanks,Jessica

I have spent four hours of my life and 80$ on Malware Bytes trying to download Digital Editions so I can access a manual I need for work. Everytime I try to download it, I get a popup from NOrton that tries to extort money after a free 30 day trial and it leave me no option but to accept. Totally pissed off. The only solution I can find is complicated ie rewriting code which is beyond me. Any way to actually talk to a person from Adobe or am I destined to gurge through an infinite of "Get Help", "Cant' get help?" Contact Get Help. Ahhhhh!

Dear Adobe support, After consulting Kobo support and your Adobe chat support I was redirected to your forum for help. I recently purchased a Kobo e-reader and purchased books throught the device. Unfortunately the books do not appear in ADE. I have installed the tool 3 times already. My computer seems to prefer Adobe Acrobat Reader for some reason. Any idea on what could be wrong? Hello I have a issue with adube Digital. It will not open a book I add a book. It tells me that the authorization is not allowed with the book?  How do I fix this issue?

Good evening Adobe!I bought a new ebook and wanted to move some of my books from books.google.com to it using Adobe Digital Editions.The problem is that it does not let me authorize my computer although I tried with Google option with my google account. Also I tried creating this account which I'm using to post this discussion... with Adobe ID option selected and my email and Adobe ID password, and it does not work either.Then, I tried to visit this link displayed from the application http://www.adobe.com/es/products/digital-editions/ebookcreateid.html but it shows me a 404 page not found on my browser.Could you please help?Regards!Juan

I have downloaded an ebook in pdf format, and it is protected by drm, and I can't find any way to open this dokument in my acrobat reader. I have made an account in acrobat, but cannot find a way to open this book. Would be thankful for some help... (or a phonenumber I can call for help? do you have an office in Norway?)

I purchased an ebook from my campus bookstore, and my only option for reading it was through digital editions. I followed all the necessary steps to install the program and download the book. However, only half of the book will load. I can only read the right hand page (i.e. every odd numbered page). All of the other ones say "chapter" at the top, and nothing else. I can highlight the whole page as if there's text there, but it's completely blank. Anyone have the same issue or know how to fix it?

So I'm starting to freak out since I have no idea what the f I'm supposed to do and am not able to contact Adobe directly. I tried to download a book I bought - which makes me even angrier since I spent 10 bucks on a book I needed the following day and now do I not only not have the ebook available but even worse my macbook is f'ed up. After / while downloading the book the App just stopped working and freezed. For the last week I now had the Digital Editions App opened. There are two windows - one showing the progress of the book download (seems to be at 100%) and the other one my library. I can't click on anything within the application. I tried to force it to close but that ain't working - so how about shutting down my laptop? Nope. Doesn't allow me to shut down or to restart my laptop unless all apps are closed. Hi, I have wiped all my Android device, and would like to re-activate my Adobe Digital Editions, but it show me "E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS", can you help to reset the count? I have 2 device can't be activated now.

I'm trying to download ebooks on to my e-reader, which I have been able to do in the past, but e-act not ready and e-auth-bad-device-key keep showing up. I've tried the various solutions offered, deleted the activation.dat and keychain access, but nothings worked. Any ideas?

Hey everyone,I have the problem that I am not able to view my eBook on my computer correctly.When I open the eBook it is too far zoomed in, which is not the case for the first steps one.Pls help

This may seem easier than it should be-but it is not. My previous laptop had Windows 10, with Adobe Digital Editions on with a lot of books...My new laptop is running the latest Windows with ADE, too. The old laptop does not open ADE at all - it shows that the app is running but it does not display on the desktop.How can I get the books etc from my OLD to NEW laptop without trying to download all the previous versions of ADE (I have tried to reinstall 3.0, but it still doesn't work).

i  am getting the message that I have reached the maximum number of machines I can use for downloads...I have been trying for days to authorize my kobo...one machine only...but now its useless as ade is not opening my library books on the kobo...the forums say authorize and unauthorize to troubleshoot. I'm trying to take the DRM off of an ASCM file so I can convert it into plain text and export it into readlang.I have Windows 10 on a PC. I started with ADE 4.5.7 and authorized my computer. I kept getting this error message:Error getting License: License server communication problem: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER'I've tried going into my settings and making ADE the default app for .acsm. I tried opening the .acsm file in explorer. I tried uninstalling 4.5.7 and replacing it with 4.0 (I've read that the older versions are less buggy, specifically 1.7.2, but can't find any version older than 4.0). I also thought it might be the ID that was the problem, so I created a new adobe ID, deauthorized the computer and reauthorized it with the new ID. None of that had any effect.I've tried deauthorizing the computer and downloading the .acsm file into ADE. Then the program gives me the prompt to authorize the computer, but every time I click "authorize" the program crashes.Thanks so mu

For the first 3 years that I had my Nook I had no problem downloading library books and openingthem. Recently they would not open on the Nook, after several weeks I could once again openthem. Now....back to the same problem, it once again has an error msg 'This book has been returned.Loan not on record.'I have tried all the suggestions, I am so disappointed and at my wits end. I am no longer happyNook owner!

I have been reading a book on my I Pad with Digital Editions, and highlighting text as I go. I then opened the book on another computer (authorized) but the highlights do not appear. Is there a solution so that markups on one device show up on another one?
