Digital Editions

I have a purchase that shows up on my iPad but no longer is accessible on my Mac.  I've downloaded the latest version of Digital Editions but that didn't fix it.  The error message says "The original document file is missing.Users/kurtulmer/Documents/Digital Editions/Lutheran Catechesis Catechist Edition.epub".  Has anyone run into this problem before and been able to fix it?  I was looking at the document on my Mac just a few months ago but I'm not sure what has happened between now and then.

Ich bin Mitglied einer öffentlichen Bücherei, bei der Zeitungen ausgeliehen werden können. Seit einiger Zeit bekomme ich, wenn ich z..B die Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung herunterlade nur noch den Zeitungstitel und die Seitenzahlen angezeigt, nicht dagegen die Zeitungsartikel. Die "Onleihe"-Redaktion führt dies auf die neue Version 4.5.7 zurück, bei Version 4.5.6 wäre ein Ausleihe möglich. Das Problem müsse von Adobe gelöst werden. MeineFrage ist, ob dieses Problem bei Adobe überhaupt bekannt ist und wann mit einer Lösung zu rechnen ist? Existiert ggf. schon eine Lösung?

I just started using Adobe Digital Editions on my PC.  I downloaded a printable e-script that I'd purchased, but it's not printing correctly.  First, it's printing Portrait instead of Landscape, (so I'm missing a few letters on the right) and only 1/2 of the page is printing from top to bottom.  Why?

quand je loade un livre d'une bibliothèque à mon ordi, le livre n'apparait pas, mon adobe est vide. J'ai essayer des dizaines de fois d'installer adobe digital 4.5.6 et c'est toujours le mëme problème. Ce problème est arrivé tout d'un coup. Au secours...

When I went to another device and installed, opened and authorized this device, my book I can see on another device doesn't show. Was I suppose to do something other then authorize the new device.

I have a Windows 10 PC and downloaded Adobe Digital Editions.  The download bar was full and a Norton advertisement window comes up and both windows just freeze.  Then I have to hit control alt delete and stop the task.  Happens every time.  Simply won't complete the download.Help?

I have been on the Phone with KOBO who referred ne to you and after a rather unsatisfying  chat conversation I was referred to some forum. I repeated my question and got an answer back that the problem was resolved. When testing, it appeared not to be resolved. I have spent a couple of hours already on trying to get this working and I am not able to get this up and running without your support.  Could you please advise on how to move forward and let me know what I can expect from you or what it is that you need from me to provide support? I have been operating a laptop using Windows 10 in conjunction with my Nook GlowLight successfully for over a year.  Recently I have found that I can’t download ebooks via Adobe Digital Edition 4.5 as now the Nook is not being recognised.  Other devices I plug in via USB work just fine but the Nook does not. I should mention the problem surfaced when ADE was updated from version 3.0 I wonder whether this is a known problem and whether there is a fix availableIt may be worthy of note that connecting the Nook to the PC the light indicating that they are charging, however, there is no drive registered on the file explorer. There is nothing that I can find anywhere that indicates that the PC detects a thing. There are no error messages or notifications. This is true for all the USB ports.I am extremely grateful for you taking the time to help me in this very frustrating problemRegardsTony W

I checked out a textbook and made a bunch of annotations, highlights. My computer was acting up, so I had to clear the memory and reinstall Digital Editions. I have the saved ANNOTE file for the textbook which I'm guessing has all my info. I've re-checked out this textbook, and I'm wondering if there's a way to add those annotations using that ANNOTE file.Thanks!

Hi  i would like to know why my adobe digital is not showing my ebooks in it when iit's open do you have any idea how to fix this problem ?

I'm running Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 on a Windows 7 computer.I was using Adobe Digital Edition unauthorized to read library eBooks, then decided to authorize it so I could access my library books elsewhere as well. I downloaded some books, then I started getting authentication errors. I couldn't erase the authorization through Adobe Digital Editions to try to redo it, I kept getting errors. I followed the instructions for editing the Registry, which removed the old authorization, and now I can select "authorize your computer". But when I enter my Adobe ID and password, I get the error message:"Digital Editions could not connect to the activation server. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet."My computer is connected to the Internet - that's how I'm connected to this discussion. I have uninstalled and re-installed Adobe Digital Editions, and the same thing happens.  Any suggestions? I prefer Adobe Digital Editions to alternatives, but if this activation problem can't

I am having huge issues getting my Adobe Digital Edition to have all it's features enabled, such as highlight. It seems many features are grey, and not available. My school won't help me, I'm at a loss, as it's very difficult to read and learn. I hope that a professional can help?Thanks,Jessica

I have spent four hours of my life and 80$ on Malware Bytes trying to download Digital Editions so I can access a manual I need for work. Everytime I try to download it, I get a popup from NOrton that tries to extort money after a free 30 day trial and it leave me no option but to accept. Totally pissed off. The only solution I can find is complicated ie rewriting code which is beyond me. Any way to actually talk to a person from Adobe or am I destined to gurge through an infinite of "Get Help", "Cant' get help?" Contact Get Help. Ahhhhh!

Dear Adobe support, After consulting Kobo support and your Adobe chat support I was redirected to your forum for help. I recently purchased a Kobo e-reader and purchased books throught the device. Unfortunately the books do not appear in ADE. I have installed the tool 3 times already. My computer seems to prefer Adobe Acrobat Reader for some reason. Any idea on what could be wrong? Hello I have a issue with adube Digital. It will not open a book I add a book. It tells me that the authorization is not allowed with the book?  How do I fix this issue?

Good evening Adobe!I bought a new ebook and wanted to move some of my books from books.google.com to it using Adobe Digital Editions.The problem is that it does not let me authorize my computer although I tried with Google option with my google account. Also I tried creating this account which I'm using to post this discussion... with Adobe ID option selected and my email and Adobe ID password, and it does not work either.Then, I tried to visit this link displayed from the application http://www.adobe.com/es/products/digital-editions/ebookcreateid.html but it shows me a 404 page not found on my browser.Could you please help?Regards!Juan

Autorisierung nicht möglich! Wie kann ich autorisierung auf  reset stellen? Habe eine eBook Reader den ich nicht autorisieren kann. Da ich Speicherkarte formatieren musste, vermute ich das Anzahl der Geräte überschritten wurde, da danach gerät immer wieder als neues zählt! Bitte um Hilfe!

I have downloaded an ebook in pdf format, and it is protected by drm, and I can't find any way to open this dokument in my acrobat reader. I have made an account in acrobat, but cannot find a way to open this book. Would be thankful for some help... (or a phonenumber I can call for help? do you have an office in Norway?)

I purchased an ebook from my campus bookstore, and my only option for reading it was through digital editions. I followed all the necessary steps to install the program and download the book. However, only half of the book will load. I can only read the right hand page (i.e. every odd numbered page). All of the other ones say "chapter" at the top, and nothing else. I can highlight the whole page as if there's text there, but it's completely blank. Anyone have the same issue or know how to fix it?
