Digital Editions

The Digital Editions website just shows an error message. Is anyone else having this problem?

I am beyond frustrated trying to get an answer from Adobe. The contact leads here only or to a page which just leads back to the same page. I have a new computer I am trying to set-up Digital additions on for my Kobo.. I went in and created an account but no ID was generate just a blank page. I tried again but the system said there was already an ID for my e-mail. Now I am unable to contact anyone to get the ID.  How do I get my ID!!!

Hello,A few year back I installed adobe digital editions on my laptop and purchased some ebooks.Since the I have switched to a new laptop which I copied all my ebooks too at the time.Today I installed the latest digital editions in order to read one of this ebooks but I cannot  open the book and there is a message saying that the book is authorized to a vendor Id which I have no clue what it is as a few years have passed since I purchased it.

Sinds de up-date van windows gaat het gedownloade book niet meer naar adobe digital editions maar is alleen nog maar te lezen via edge. hoe herstel ik dit?

Wenn ich über die onleihe, bzw. die Leo Süd Bibliothekseite epaper ausleihe und mit der Adobe Digital Editions App versuche zu öffnen, erscheint der Fehler: "Digital Editions konnte keine Verbindung zum Fulfillment-Server herstellen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie mit dem Internet verbunden sind.Dieser Fehler tritt nur mit dem iPad auf, auf meinem (Windows) Rechner tritt hierbei kein Problem auf. Ich habe die Adobe App bereits deinstalliert und erneut installiert und auch versucht die Datei mit unterschiedlichen Browsern (Safari, Firefox) herunterzuladen. Kann mir hierbei jemand helfen?Vielen Dank im Voraus!

Hi all,Please can anyone help me how to re-authorize my PC. After I reinstalled Windows in it, my digital edition was deted. I re-installed digital edition and when I tried to re-authorize with my Adobe Id I get a TOO-MANY_machines error. How can I reset my PC?Help meThanks

Hello everybody,             I installed ADE on my Macbook and upload the acsm file that I bought. The book appears in the library on my Mac but, when I update the library on my ADE app on my iPad I don't see the new book. How can I solve it? I tried to exit from the app, to unauthorize and reauthorize the app on my iPad, close and reopen the app on Mac but I didn't solve the problem. Thank you in advance for the help.

My wife and I recently bought a new MAC. We had our account authorized to our old MAC. We deauthorized the old MAC and tried to authorize the new MAC. But was coming up saying we could not use an account that was associated with another computer. We went through to the users/library/ and delete authorization on the old MAC but when we try to authorize the new one it comes up with our message saying cannot authorize account associated with another computer. Please help thank you.

Every single time I close Digital Edition, it asks to copy the book to the Library. I don't want to, so I click the "Don't show this again" and click close.Seems that you can only get rid of this dialog by copying EVERYTHING opened to the library.Please fix this bug/bad design!

Hi,I have a somewhat peculiar problem. I got a new Adobe ID because I wanted to give up the email account associated with my old Adobe ID. Therefore I unregistered the email account and the Adobe ID. Unfortunately I forgot to unauthorize ADE before unregistering its Adobe ID. Now I can't reauthorize ADE using my new ID because I can't unauthorize ADE using my (no more existing) old ID.So I need some magic from the support team. (Adobe chat sent me here)Regardshk

How do I download using Adobe digital?

I was advised by Kobo to return to Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 for downloading library content to my early model Kobo reader.I uninstalled ADE version 4 and attempted to use my previously installed (and still present) version 3.0 but then started getting "Error! Check Activation" messages that I think come from ADEI have now uninstalled all ADEditions from my system (ADE 2.0. 3.0 and 4,.54)But now I cannot find Adobe Digital Editions 3.;0 on the Adobe website!  I know I saw it somewhere on the website a week ago, but cannot find it now.Help!

When attempting to download/open a newly purchased pdf, I get the error message "Check Activation".  Not sure where to go from here....anyone have suggestions? C

Hi,I work for a Higher Education institute and we are looking to deploy Digital Editions to our shared, open-access PCs.  I'm aware that ADE needs to be authorised with an Adobe ID before DRM-protected e-books can be read, and that an Adobe ID can be associated with a maximum of 6 devices.When it comes to students using their own devices (e.g. mobile, tablet and laptop) there isn't an issue - they can simply create an Adobe ID and authorise those devices with that ID.However, we also need to offer our students the option to read e-books on our open-access PCs and this is where individual Adobe IDs aren't appropriate. A student could potentially log onto many different PCs over the course of a year, and a single PC will be used by hundreds of students. So how do we authorise individual PCs in this context?Any help/advice would be much appreciated.Thanks,Paul

I have used Digital Editions in my classroom for several years. I have relocated to Vietnam, new workplace, and cannot seem to bring ADE with me to a new Macbook computer.I've even deleted the old program, and let all the existing resources there go to try to get a platform that works in my new place.I've used a few browsers.. but the same error message result is this error message. No idea how to fix it! The login to Adobe>>Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ACT_NOT_READYWhat does this mean? How can I fix it? The login to Adobe ID has grabbed an additional detail, which is no longer my ID.. but I cant get to it to delete that detail. Round in circles.Can anyone please advise how to get this otherwise very good program going for me??Thanks, Debbie

Recently our company has started to purchase ebooks in *.acsm format.In error took the easy route and created a standard Adobe ID, however we have found that it is not adapt to a mid / large company environment and we really need to be in a position to purchase and share the various ebooks.I have performed many searches but the only information that I have found is this blog  How do I create an Enterprise ID However it does not provide an y real information on what is required or the costs. For example do we really need to sign a Creative Cloud for Enterprise ETLA? What options are there? Any assistance would be much appreciated

Hi guys, i've get an error in the opening of a book purchased on the google play books. I've alredy contact the google assistance and i follow their instruction but they don't work , so they tell me to contact the adobe assistance. The error is as follows "E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TYPE_UNKNOWN".

Bonjour à tous,Je viens d’acquérir un ebooks dans le cadre de la rédaction d'un rapport et les Droits associés à cet ouvrage numérique sont définis tels : - consultation sur 2 ordinateurs ou terminaux mobiles - copier-coller : 10 pages autorisées par mois - impression : non autoriséeDès le 1er téléchargement j'ai pu ouvrir le document en question sur la machine à la maison et disposant de droits pour une consultation su 2 ordinateurs, j'ai essayé d’ouvrir le fichier sur mon ordi au bureau; chose vaine (capture d'écran). Et depuis ce temps, même à la maison, impossible de consulter le doc.Je précise que j'ai même désinstallé ADE de ma machine au domicile pensant régler le problème et jusque là, impossible de lire le fichier.Quelqu'un pourrait il m'aider à ressource ce problème ou à contacter le service client?Merci par avance.

ik heb eerder al Adobe Digital Editions gedownload maar nu wil ik een boek van de bibliotheek downloaden maar krijg ik de melding: Error! Check activation.Ik heb hem al opnieuw gedownload. Firewall uitgezet voor deze app. ik heb hem geprobeerd te re-autorized maar dan moet ik later proberen en dan zegt hij dat mijn wachtwoord niet goed terwijl die wel werkt op site. Weet iemand hoe ik hier vanaf kan? Ik wil het liefst vandaag nog boeken downloaden voor mijn moeder die morgen op vakantie gaat.Alvast Bedankt
