Hi,I have been using Adobe Digital Editions on my Mac for about two weeks to read a school textbook I downloaded. I have to restart the program every 10-15 minutes because it eventually gets very slow. Every time I try to highlight a text, make a note or even scroll the page it takes 30 seconds and I get a wait signal. Once I restart it, it begins to function normally again. Any idea why it is being so slow? All of my other applications on my computer work fine and have no issues. Since I have started writing this post ADE is still trying to simply bookmark a page. How do you remove DRM from purchased items as the ADOBE Digital editions reader is SHITE.i have removed and reinstalled the software, changed the library name.Authorized the computer wiht no ID which is pretty pointless when you purchase books  and the first thing the book asks for is an ID!!!Contacted the help desk, referred to the forums for an answer. How do you create a product that causes so many issues??? and has no easily obtainable answers. The easiest way would be to have an overall reset key that only Adobe can administer, yet this is not the case? i have several books that call for an ADOBE ID and i only have 2, so how hard can it be!!!!!! 

 I'm not able to download ADE from the Google Play store for an Android device runing Android 14. I receive a message that states "This app isn't available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android." Are there any plans to update the app so that it will run on devices that are have the newest Android version 14?

I've tried going into Textedit and choosing 18pt to 100pt on my Mac but that changed nothing.Suggestions would be appreciated.

I have some books bought on an old computer with an old email account. It seems that this adobe account doesn't exist anymoreI have an new computer now and want to move the books to digital editions on this new computer. I haven a new adobe account how can I transfer these books ?thxGerard

I uninstalled ADE and reinstalled it and authorized the phone but I get the message: Unable to download Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED. It seems a lot of people have this problem either on a laptop, computer or other devices. What's up?

I have had Digital Editions for 4 years but recently the pages are blurry and then it suddently quits. 1. I have deleted the app and reinstalled several times.2. I upgraded to iOS 17 with no results.3. I have Digital Editions synced with my laptop so I download from the school library first to my laptop (which works fine with Digital Editions) and then I open Digital editions on my iPad.Any suggestions how to remedy this problem with my iPad?

Hi, i need to give input with spaces in interactive epub, but space is taken as next page in ADE Can you help me to slove this problem. I am using javascript to get inputs from user in epub. Or tell me how to disable space bar shortcut for this type of epub in ADE. Thanks 

I just purchased a book from google and I want to import it to my Adobe Digital Editions library. I downloaded the .acsm file and I authorized my computer using my Adobe ID. when i try to import the file a pop up indicates that the file is  "unable to download" and it says "E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED. i tried to sign in with my google account instead using the google vendor login, but i cannot login because it is telling me that my login information is wrong when i know it is definitely right. I have not downloaded the file to any other computer, and i only have adobe digital editions downloaded on my macbook. I don't know what to do, but i know a bunch of other people have had similar problems. I called the adobe care number and the woman who answered my call was useless. can someone please help me solve this issue. Thank you in advance!   Update: i created a new adobe ID using my gmail account, but that also did not work

Computer OS: Windows 8.1.ADE version: 4.0.3.114137Device: B&N Nook Simple TouchAfter working fine as recently as a few days ago, my Nook is suddenly unable to read a book downloaded from my public library.  The book can be read on the Windows desktop using Adobe Digital Editions, but when I use Digital Editions to transfer the book to my Nook reader, I cannot read it there.  The book appears in the Library on the Nook, but when I try to open it, I get the message "Loan token not found."Doing a factory reset (erase and deregister device) and re-registering the Nook, then re-authorizing it using Adobe Digital Editions does not fix the problem.If I look at the Nook using the Windows File Explorer and examine the file .adobe-digital-editions\activation.xml, I can see that it does not contain any <loan token> section.  So the Nook has correctly reported that there is no loan token, and it appears that ADE has transferred the book without properly updating this file.

Quand j'essaie d'ouvrir le fichier, ça semble fonctionner, le livre s'affiche dans ADE, mais le logiciel fige. When I try authorizing my computer to open a DRM book I downloaded by entering my Adobe ID and password, I get the error "The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. Try again." even the book is associated with the account. For more context, I am trying to open the book on a different PC than the one I originally used to download it.

font size won't increase in an epub library loanChecked out ebook The Achievement Habit from San Jose library and selected epub.Downloaded title and it opens in ADE 4.x fine.Went to the upper right font size drop down and chose a larger font, but, there was no change in the on screen font size

I just bought a kobo. I am trying to authorize the device. I have re-installed adobe digital editions. I have my mac authorised BUT it is using a very old email address which is no longer active. I can't d-authorize my mac as I no longer have access to the email account and can't retrieve my password. I tried to set up a new account to access all my books and re-authorize my computer (and also my new KOBO) but am unable to do any of the above. I need to deauthorize my computer or link my old inaccessible adobe id to my new id- BUT can't deauthorize as I no longer have access to the old email.... PLEASE HELP 🙂

When you have to reauthorize your ADE app in your computer in order change your app's email, do you lose your ebooks from your ADE account?

I used to be able to enlarge the font size to either XLarge or Ultra large and it worked great.  All of a sudden it quit working.  I can change it, but the font doesn't resize to the appropriate selection.  I've downloaded the latest edition, and it was suggested by Adobe that I go back to the previous version, which I did.  It still doesn't work.  Any suggestions? 

Hello, I installed Digital Editions and it does not even start. I am afraid it has some conflict with two different Adobe accounts I have been using, but I have no clue how to solve this issue. The problem is that I have purchased some content that I cannot see at all. Thank you very much for any help. 

sell ebooks via the Adobe Digital Editions platform.  However I'm now having customers contacting me saying that when they try to download the ebook link, they get the following error message ... Hmm can't reach this page. It looks like the webpage at XXX might be having issues or it may have moved permanently to a new web address ... ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED.  I'm reading that it's because they are using Chrome. Can you please fix this. As I'm sure you can appreciate, I can't just ask every customer who uses a Chrome browser to undertake a detailed process of configuring their computer proxy server or DNS just to download and access my ebooks.

Hi thereAdobe digital editions doesn't recognise my new Kindle device. I have tried all suggested troubleshooting solutions such as changing USB port, closing and reopening ADE, reinstalling ADE and reauthorising my account. An Adobe agent in the live chat directed me here. Thank you
