Digital Editions

I have downloaded books from CloudLibrary and can view them on my computer through ADE. When I transfer them to my Kobo Clara I can open them, but  can only scroll through the first 4 pages before it freezes. I tried multiple downloaded ebooks and it happens specifically on the "content" page. Kobo tried to trouble shoot but since I can open kobo purchased books, it seems to be a transfer issue between ADE and Kobo. Any suggestions?

Adobe DRM: "The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open."

I bought an eBook in 2015.I cannot open it now, getting the message: "The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open." This is simply untrue. I've never changed by Adobe password. I moved from one Mac to another, but that shouldn't matter given the file is linked to the account rather than the device. DRM problems again. Please if there's anything you can do; Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ADE displays EPUB cover as thumbnail

I'm editing a Calibre-generated EPUB 3 file. The cover page is perfectly ordinary:<body> <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" version="1.1" viewBox="0 0 573 862" preserveAspectRatio="xMidYMid meet" width="100%" height="100%"> <image width="573" height="862" xlink:href="cover.png"/> </svg> </body>ADE shows it as a tiny thumbnail, the same kind as displayed in the library. Other random ebooks work fine with the same code and image. I converted with Calibre one such book from EPUB 2 to 3 and reproduced the problem. Any idea what's going on? The code seems the same.

Autorización Ereader Kobo Clara

Buenos días! Tengo un problema con Kobo Ereader a la hora de abrir un libro, me sale un mensaje de que no está autorizado cuando si lo está. Me lo descargo de la Ebiblio, pasa por Ade, se descarga en el ebook y sorpresa...no se puede leer porque no está autorizado. Sincronizo, actualizo, autorizo, desautorizo y vuelvo a autorizar y así en bucle. ( autorizo en Ade, autorizo el ebook, descargo libros nuevos cuando hago todo ésto) Sólo me queda hacer un reset de fábrica. Alguien tiene alguna solución??? Cómo se pueden permitir éste tipo de problemas???

ERROR AUTORIZACIÓN DEL EQUIPO

Hola, me esta pasando algo muy raro en mi Adobe Digital Editions. He autorizado el equipo con mi ID de Adobe, hasta ahí todo bien. Pero al querer devolver un libro me lanza el siguiente mensaje de error:"Error al devolver el libro. En primer lugar autorize el equipo". Tambien al querer copiar un libro a mi dispositivo eReader me aparece el siguient error: "CECOPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No tiene permiso para copiar el libro" Me he asegurado de que tengo bien autroziado el equipo y mi dispositivo eReader, los he desautorizado e autorizado de nuevo varias veces y me siguen apareciendo los mismos errores. Tambien he desinstalado el Adobe Digital Editions e isntalado de nuevo y me sigue ocurriendo lo mismo. Gracias.

Hallo,ich lade meine ausgeliehenen Bücher auf meinen Tolino Vision 4 shine über ADE. Das klappt sonst auch. Aber dieses Mal erschein auf dem Tolino, wenn ich die Bücheer öffnen will immer obige Fehlermeldung. Diesees Problem hatte ich vor ein Monaten schon mal mit 2 Büchern. Irgendwann ging es dann. Solved: error code E_ACT_NOT_READY on Mac

Here is an update with an answer to my problem with the error code on the Mac:I decided to trash ADE version 2.0 and went back to version 1.7.2, which is available at http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/cant-install-digital-editions.html. I downloaded the version for Mac on Intel-based computers. Just be sure that you delete the ADE version 2.0 before you download version 1.7.2.This solved the problem---no error code and the ACSM file downloaded to Digital Editions without a hitch. I was able to drop it in my Nook library and all is well. Thank goodness.Hope that this information helps other Mac users.**********Original problem and question:I have a new Mac Air and have downloaded the Mac version of Digital Editions 2.0 to my computer so I can download books from the public library onto my Nook. Lorsque je la branche sur mon ordinateur et que je clique sur Connecter pour la connecter à mon ordinateur, je ne la vois pas dans les périphériques de Adobe Digitals Editions. Impossible de lire le livre sur Kobo

J'ai le message suivant lorsque j'essaye d'ouvrir un livre sur la tablette Kobo apres un transfet depuis ADE version 4.5.11.187303 : Votre Liseuse n'est pas autorisée à ouvrir ce livreCe livre est protégé par Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM). Ayant désautorisé votre liseuse précédement, vous devez le réimporter en utilisant Adobe Digital Editions (ADE).Pourtant ma liseuse est correctement autorisée dans ADE. Avec le meme ID adobe sur le PC (Windows 10) et sur la liseuse. Le livre apparait bien sur la liseuse mais impossible de l'ouvrir. Merci à Adobe d'apporter une réponse. Ce dysfonctionnement m'empeche de pouvoir lire les livres empruntés sur la liseuse.

I'm trying to add new eBooks to my ADE application on my Windows PC but I keep getting errors that it cannot (or will not) open the files. Device authorization greyed out

I am trying to authorize my Kobo Clara HD via Adobe Digital Edition. It finds my ereader, but when I click on the settings cog by the ereader, the option to "authorize device" is greyed out. as are the options of device authorization information, and erase device authorization. Hi:I've downloaded an ebook (as a URL Link file) from my local library. When I try to open it, I receive the following message:"Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12"I've tried this on URL files from two different libraries.
