Digital Editions

Ciao a tutti, non riesco ad autorizzare il mio ebook a leggere un file protetto, nonostante abbia autorizzato il dispositivo dal pc. Ho provato in tutti i modi a risolvere il problema seguendo le linee guida sul sito, incluso disinstallare Adobe Digital Edition e l'ebook, ma il problema persiste.Grazie in anticipo a chi può essermi d'aiuto.

I am using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11.  I have downloaded books from our local library to my laptop. The computer is authorized as is my KOBO Aura One reader. I can read the borrowed books on my computer. When I look at 'My Books' on my Kobo, I see the books but the cover is black and when I try to open the book it states I am not authorized, DRM etc. I have gone back to the start a few times, deleted the books in question and cancelled the authorization on my laptop and reader, restarted  from the initial download from the library and still no luck. I even re-initialized the kobo and re-installed ADE. I don't know what else I can do. I have a MAC running under Catalina.HELP please!!!!!

Problème de communication avec le serveur de licence E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12".Je précise que j'ai téléchargé Adobe reader 4.5 car la version en .3 n'affichait plus rien alors qu'elle fonctionnait parfaitement auparavant.Merci de votre réponse. 

Hi There I am unable to open an acsm book i have just purchased due to error message belowI am using the lates edition of ADE 4.5.11 which i have just downloaded and I have imported the file in directly through File>Add to my library. I have seen previous posts around this issue ( i.e. deleting acsm,cookies etc, unistall/reinstall and deauthorise/reauthorise etc..) but none of these seem to work unfortunately for me. Does anyone knows how to sort this?

Buongiorno ho un problema con l'applicazione adobe digital editions. sull'applicazione mi è rimasta la vecchia mail che ormai è disabilitata mentre sul kobo nuovo ho messo una mail nuova, come faccio a cambiare quella sull'applicazione e poter cosi autorizzare il kobo con il pc?grazie 

Nie moge zalogowac sie na konto na czytniku, chociaz nie jestem nigdzie zalogowana.    

Buongiorno. Da quando ho cambiato il pc non riesco piu' a far funzionare Ade. Ho provato varie volte a installare e disinstalare il programma, controllando le necessarie autorizzazioni sia sul pc sia su Kobo.Non trovo nella libreria di Ade gli ebook scaricati. Quando apro Ade non gtrovo neppure i vecchi libri.Ho provato anche a copiare in Ade gli e book . Da alcuni giorni moi arriva il messaggio "Errore! Check activation". Non so piu cosa fare!Grazie per ogni suggerimentoMaria Teresa 

I'm building an ePub for a client who requires to view it in ADE on a PC.However, I've discovered that the search function built into ADE does not work. It keeps coming up with 'No match found' and I've tried a few words. Search functions works flawlessly in iBooks but not in ADE and I've the latest version downloaded!

Hello together,I use my sony ereader with my adobe id for several years now, and have already used three different pc's with this same id to load my ebooks to the reader. Since the number of devices that can be registered with the same id is limited to 6, I really need to remove the id from two of these pc's that are not alive anymore to register a new device. How do I do that?

 Hello everyone! I have purchased an e-workbook for school and cannot type or add comments to the workbook file using my keyboard. Because the e-book is in Adobe Editions, the added remark and highlight options are greyed out when I right-click. Is there any way I can digitally write right on the e-book?

After experiencing numerous problems and various error messages I have some recommendations. NUMBER ONE. before trying to authorize the newest Digital Editions on a windows 7 computer, go to the Adobe website and create an Adobe account! THEN authorize the computer to that account ID. If you authorize the computer WITHOUT the Adobe account, they actually say the you can"t connect from there to a portable device. In my recent experience I couldn't even properly use Digital Editions by itself on the computer. Now if you are reading this because you authorized without an EXISTING account and are having trouble the fix using information from Adobe help notes is to do this. FIRST create an Adobe account at their site. THENuninstall Digital Editions and use regedit to remove data from the programs information under   HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Adobe. I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editions and can see my eBook. But I cannot go to the next page in the book with either keyboard or ADE arrow key. Using mouse, can see page number moved to another page number but actual ebook did not move.

I'm trying to authorize my computer in ADE to transfer e-books. However when I enter my Adobe ID and password, it says "Incorrect ID or password for the selected vendor ID". I have selected Adobe as the vendor ID and tried resetting my password numerous times and nothing seems to be working.

This morning ADE 4.5.11 did not start on my work computer. Yesterday it was running fine on Windows 10. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, downloading with another browser and restarting my computer. Task Manager shows that the program starts, but it closes down within a few seconds without an error message. I use this a lot for my work and personal studies, and I cannot afford it not to work.

I had a very old version of Digital Editions (2.0) installed and authorized with my Adobe ID. I installed the current version (4.5) and had problems loading a new ebook I had just purchased. On advice from the vendor, I deauthorized, reauthorized, and then was able to download the book and view it. I am running Windows 10.Then I discovered that installing the new version of Digital Editions did not delete the old version. So I uninstalled both versions, rebooted the machine, reinstalled the new one, deauthorized and reauthorized again. Now the app doesn't work at all any more. I don't see any books I had before. I choose "New Bookshelf" and nothing happens. I click on the Reading menu and the app closes with no error message. I try adding the book to the library and the app freezes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, even redownloaded the app from the Adobe website, with no change in the app's behavior. What should I do?

I recently needed to update my Surface book's to Win 11 Pro, so I needed to reinstall the ADE. I tried to open my ebooks again, but when it finally came to authorize my computer, ADE won't accept my Adobe ID. Help, please.

Hi, I need to set Adobe Digital Editions to open eBooks automatically for ACSM files and when I go to default program settings the option is not available.. how can I change this?

ADE version: 4.5.11.187480Equipment verified: iPad pro MY232J/AOS: iOS 15.4 Even the introduction guide, which is included from the beginning, does not display properly.The picture below is a screenshot.In other books, more than half of the pages look like this or are blank.On the PC version I can read fine.Can someone please tell me how to display it properly?

Tengo instalado ADE pero cuando quiero abrir un libro comprado o un libro prestado de la biblioteca me pregunta si quiero permitir que la aplicación haga cambios en el dispositivo, si le digo que si me da el siguiente mensaje "ADE 4.5 ya esta ejecutandose. Cierre ADE e intentelo de nuevo". No se cual es el problema y como puedo abrir los libros y pasarlos a mi KOBO.

Quiero mover los libros registrados en la biblioteca del adobe id zakijg@hotmail.com a la biblioteca del adobe id  veronica_llaves@hotmail.com.

Hi there! I have been using Adobe Digital Editions for a number of years. All of a sudden it won't launch. I've downloaded and reinstalled, tried running as administrator, troubleshooted compatibility... Still no luck. I've not had any problems before, and it just randomly happened. Just decided nup. Not going to launch. Notwithstanding my annoyance at such poor performance, from a company like Adobe no less, I would dearly love to access my content. That I have paid for. Ideally yesterday, and the day before that. So, with that in mind I'd be immensely appreciative if anyone here can help me with accessing my content, or giving some input into how I can export these ebooks (that I own, and have paid thousands of dollars for) into another reader that won't perform so incredibly poorly

Hi there, I recently purchased e-books and donwloaded to digital editions on behalf of students in Eritrea. I am shortly to visit the country and I am wondering how I can now give them access. Can they access my digital editions account from another device in Eritrea using my authorization ID? Or is there another process I should follow. Any help much appreciated!
