Digital Editions

Hi everyone! Would like to ask for help if anybody got a solution already on the ADE regardless of versions in Windows 10 in terms of navigating pages of the book in ADE.Having a problem on this ever since I installed it today. I imported an authorized book and it just doesn't go to the page quickly. Have to click on any function in ADE (i.e. Fit to Page, full screen button) just so it goes to display the page number i scrolled into (e.g. I scrolled from page 1 to 2, it displays page 2 but the content is stuck at page 1).

Bear with me here, because this will be a little detailed and not the nicest post. I am a student, who once in a while, has to use ADE in order to open certain schoolwork and files. ADE is not too common in my school, and is reserved for bigger files, therefore I do not get much use out of it, only once or twice in an entire year. For the past few days, I have been working on this book, annotating and highlighting as I need the information for an assignment due tonight. At one point, the app became unresponsive randomly, (I should note, I have a MacBook Pro with the Monterey update). I had to force quit the app, and upon restarting it, I removed my expired files, just to clean the app up a little. When I opened the book I was working on, every single note and highlight disappeared. I restarted the app twice, and nothing.  I read the forums, but nothing was helpful. Trying to open an ebook for my classroom.  I continue to receive this message when clicking the link.  Any suggestions? 

I am trying to sync the ADE books on my computer with my iOS device. When I log in via my iPhone I am unable to view or add the books that I have purchased on my computer. How can I find out which ID my computer ADE is authorised with? 

ik heb een nieuwe laptop. Een Lenovo thinkpad.Met windows 10 lukt het niet om met adobe digital editions 4.5 de computer te autoriseren. Mijn wachtwoord wordt niet geaccepteerd. Zo kan ik geen bestanden kopieren naar mijn kobo reader.Ik kan wel inloggen op mijn adobe account, met hetzelfde wachtwoord.Ik heb op de firewall adobe digital editions toegevoegd.Wat is de oplossing?Groet, Cislene. 

I would like to create an online book of a curated art collection that includes arrange of media. I wonder if this is possible in ADE. Has anyone used ADE in this way? Are examples available? 

Hi everyone,I am working on client project (Books epub Creation). When I export book as Epub Fixed Layout and send to my client. He tell me to solve this error " Fonts: Encrypted fonts are used. Not every shop supports encrypted fonts.". I have books in 20 languages and each book has different font.Anyone please help me how to solve this issue. I search a lot and watch videos but unable to solve this issue.I shall be very thankful to you.Regards Yasir Ali

Himy problem is related to books with a DRM licence. I can read them with a dedicated online app, but if i try to export/open them with my KOBO Libra H2O they can not be opened; the book's icons are black and KOBO gives an error message saying that my e-Reader is not authorized to open the books.The problem is that it is AUTHORIZED, and the PC too, using Adobe Digital Editions app.thanks for your helpAndrea 

I'm using Windows 10, and when I try to erase authorization, so that I can re-authorize this computer, I get a message, "Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try after some time." All of the threads I've found here are old and/or don't work.  

I use Adobe InDesign for one project a year - about 2 months. Should I / can I delete the app and start it up again next year? 

Greetings, I'm unable to authorise digital editions with my Adobe-ID. I verified that the password and mail adress are correct by logging in online. However Digital Editions claims the ID or password to be wrong. Does anyone know how to solve this? I'm Using 2FA for my Adobe-ID on Adobe Digital Editions Version 4.5.11.187303 on Windows 10 (System buid 19042.1466) Hopefully anyone know how to sort this out.  Best wishes.

I bought a book and can see it on my Apple iMac but it shows over the whole screen (27") and cannot do anything except scroll to the next page. There are no buttons to change settings. I had to use Adobe digital Editions 4.5 to be able to watch  the book. 

I am unable to see my Kobo Arc 7 reader from digital editions. I have a MacBook Pro running bootcamp. I have installed digital editions on both the OSX and the Windows 7 operating system. Digital editions does not recognize my connected Kobo on either system. 

Hey there, I've been having a problem authorizing my EPUB 3.2 books from Overdrive on my eReader device--looking into, it seems that there's a crucial error wherein the authorization token often isn't being written onto the device from ADE (4.5.11) when transfering; this happens both on MacOS and Windows. I've tried several varieties of EPUB and it seems like this is only occuring with v3.2 (this never has happened with any of my v2.0 EPUBs at all). Has anyone else experienced this/is this a known error with ADE?

I just downloaded adobe digital editions. When I go to download my library book and open it with the program I get a message "error check activation". Help I don't know what to do. Everything is authorized but I don't know how I correct the error.

How do I opt out of the Adobe product improvement program?I'm told to go to my Adobe program, click on help, etc.I've disabled Acrobat Reader DC and the only other Adobe program that I use is ADE. I clicked on help there to no avail.

I am trying to troubleshoot an error of :Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ACT_NOT_READYAccording to other feedback you need to erase authorization and then redo it to get this error to go away.  My issue is that when the window opens for (command-shift-D  and it has my Authorized user correct, and asks for password.  I input my Adobe password and says it is the incorrect password.  I have gone onto the main Adobe site and changed my password; reloaded Adobe digitial editions; restarted computer...Still get the same error when I try and download a book.  Any ideas?Even tried to do command-shift-u  which is supposed to open the authorization window, this does not work.

Hi, I cant login to the adobe digital editions app on android as it throws an error of max devices.In Plans&Payments -> Activated devices, it lists none, though.Can you deactive all the devices so i can log back in? Thanks.

I try to read my books today but many pages will not be showing. It shows a blank page, refreshing does not help. Some documents are blank. What happend? Was this because of an update? I work on iPadOS 15.2.1 and ADE 4.5.11.18.74.80 and posted on 23-1-2022 at 11:03.

Downloaded books from the library are not appearing on ADE Bookshelf in order to transfer to  NOOK.

I just downloaded Digital Editions to a new laptop. When I connect my Kobo, Digital Editions does not seem to recognize any of the books bought through Kobo, only books I bought/borrowed through other sites. How do I get the missing books from my Kobo to display in the Library?

After a couple of months of effort, my wife has been unable to get a library book onto the Kobo e-Reader via Adobe Digital Editions. I am now trying to figure out the problem......ADE does not recognize the Kobo e-Reader that is to say the Kobo does not show up as an icon on the Bookshelf of ADE. So there is no way to transfer the book onto it.I have tried uninstalling the ADE and reinstalling to see if it would then recognize the e-Reader to no avail.The ADE is "authorized" and the Kobo reader is recognized by the computer as evidenced by it showing up with a drive letter in "MY Computer".Assistance requested and appreciated.Thanks

"I cannot authorise the reader from Adobe Digital Editions althought I introduce my Adobe id. It appears the error message that says " You have to authorise again your ereader with the id by using Adobe Digital Editions". 

I bought a book from Irwinlaw website. I was advised to use Adobe because it's an ACSM file. I followed all the steps from downloading ADE, authorizing the computer, then I tried to open the ACSM file and it showed the error message: Unable to download Error message E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER. I have tried unauthorizing computer, uninstall ADE, install again and authorized again. But nothing works. I'm quite desperated now. Please if anyone knows how to fix this, kindly help me!!!
