Dimension

The dimension file can suddenly no longer be opened. Can anyone here help? The file is really important and it would be a lot of work to have to rebuild it.

Please help! Objects are not showing when I drag and drop them into the scene.Any tutorials I have watched shows the user dragging and dropping an object into the scene. Immediately the object will show up.Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?I am using the latest version of the software and my system has adequate requirements to run the package. Hey guys.I can't find any physical lights (e.g:  Area Light, Spot Light, Point Light, Directional Light)as shown here: https://helpx.adobe.com/dimension/objects/physical-lights.html Are there any solutions to bring physical lights back to the assets panel or maybe there are some alternatives to do so?   Thank you in advance.

Hi,as it is possible to save multiple material variant in a single "GLB" file, I was wondering if it could be possible to select which one you use when importing a GLB file in Dimension.It could be nice to have a library of assets with multiple appearance appearance embedded in a single file. Many Thanks

Adobe Dimension is constantly crashing with simple tasks like rotating... BSOD!Everything is updated here (Win 10 pro, 64Gb RAM, M2 SSD, i7 5820K, RTX 3060, 850W true power, liquid cooling). Adobe Dimension does not support adding too many textures (paper box, for example, but not only), and in the box some objects with textures... At some point, when you try to rotate, move, change color, or add a new texture... bam, it appearing Blue Screen Of Death and restart. I tested all the hardware components and everything is ok also the (studio)drivers new or old - have the same problems. This makes me think that there is some limitation somewhere and maybe Adobe knows about that limitation - otherwise, why have Stage and Dimension in the same place?.. Dimension only works with very basic models and with only adding one to four textures, basic light and that's it.

Hallo zusammen,ich habe ein Problem: Wenn ich Adobe Dimension auf dem Laptop im Home-Office öffne, erscheint eine Java Script Fehlermeldung. Kann jemand sagen, warum das passiert und was man tun kann, damit sich Dimension wieder starten lässt? 

I used to go to OBJECT > GENERATE UVs. And a pop up would allow me to save a PSD, and it used to work a couple days ago. Now when I select that option nothing happens. I can see some folk susing the alternate FILE > EXPORT > SELECTED OBJECT UVs, but when I choose that path, it generates a UV map of the original object before it was modified. Meaning if I choose the CUBE shape and modify it into a Rectangle, this latter option will only generate a UV for the original Cube shape and not the new Rectangular shape. And my graphics are now squished when applied as a material. I have restarted many times, deleted my preferences, and ugraded to the new 4.1.1 This issue appears on 2 seperate Macs

Hello,I have a message for the developers of Adobe Dimensions:Please reintegrate the previous 3d models that were included in Adobe Dimensions. Also, it would be nice if you would show a warning if you forgot to change the filename when rendering. I have often overwritten rendered 3D illustrations by mistake. Thank you very much! Best regards Martina

Hello, don't know if I'm missing something, but since the update, when I look to generate a PSD UV with this drop down, it doesn't do anything? Previously, I'd see a PSD on my desktop? Any ideas? Thanks.

This does not affect any previously published content which will continue to be available to link and share. Your comments history will also remain on the existing published content. We design custom chandeliers and used to send the 3D of the chandelier design to the client to approve before production. Now we are not able to do this.We need the feature back or an alternative to share 3D scenes. URGENT!!!!

Hello!Is there other ways for our clients to view the results online without using Aero? I know that 3D viewing can be done with Javascript and html, example : three.js, etc. Or is there any other ways to display 3D online with Adobe tools? Thanks!

Não consigo abrir os arquivos que eu salvo no DIMENSION, já testei tudo, desde um simples objeto no documento. Tentei reinstalar o programa, mas o problema persiste. Eu salvo, fecho e quando tento abrir aparece a mensagem da imagem.

On macOS, prepare an OBJ file with a corresponding MTL file containing backslash-based texture paths, for example:map_Kd textures\building_diffuse.jpg 2. Import or open the OBJ in Adobe Dimension 4.1.3. Observe that the textures do not load, resulting in a missing or default material.4. Open the MTL file in a text editor and replace backslashes with forward slashes:map_Kd textures/building_diffuse.jpg 5. When I export the UV of an object and I open in Photoshop the model seems to have different sizes. When I paste the graphics I want to use never matches. 

Please help...I created a simple 3D model of an open book in Adobe Dimensions. On the top pages I placed a jpg representing a spread from a picture book. I made the material of these pages matte so that everything remains readable when I put a light source on it. In Dimensions, this goes well.I imported this scene into After Effects and there the object loses its matte look, and text and illustrations become over blasted and are no longer readable.I have played with different light sources in After Effects, but nothing solves the problem.I realize that it is a crossover of 2 software programs , however, I do not know where the problem lies. Perhaps it is impossible to change or fix the matte material.I asked the same question in the After Effects community.Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong?

Hi!I was uber excited about Dimensions on my new M4 Mac, 24G but already experiencing some discrepancies. Superimposed PNG images are not showing, functionality is erratic, and the ray tracing is insufficient. Am I doing something wrong?! Please help!!!! Screenshots below!!!
