Hi ThereI am creating my first webpage in Dreamweaver cc.I used this plugin https://www.jqueryscript.net/animation/Basic-Cross-platform-One-Page-Scroll-Plugin-jQuery-fullpage.html  and now I would like to implement a button in each section that links to the next section. I thought this should work with a id and a link to this id - but it doesn't.Is anybody out there willing to help me? Hi, just bought a month by month use of DW CC. Dreamweaver_setup.exe downloaded ok, but when I went to run it - I logged on ok, on the 2nd page only the top half built. After "Remeber my credentials, there is nothing - as per below img.I assume that is not correct as you can't go further or submit it ! !I downloaded it again, and same result.I can't find anything in the forums to deal with this problem. I am building a photography website with a store using DW. I have created a gallery using Visuallightbox. I want the individual pop up photos to contain an 'add to cart' button, rather than adding it next to each image in the normal gallery view. I have included an image to show what I am trying to do. This is the pop up image from a gallery (not from my website)Do I need to build a different gallery from scratch or can I use the Vlightbox and just add the code?I am pretty clueless with html. The add to cart button will most probably link to paypal. I know how to create paypal buttons. Will I still need to create individual 'add to cart' buttons for each photo? HELP PLEASE? Sorry if these are stupid questions, as I said, I am pretty clueless with html but vaguely know my way around dreamweaver. Thanks

Hi,I have been having trouble for around 24 hours with Dreamweaver CC 2018. The issue is that when I open Dreamweaver it will not appear on screen but is visible in task manager (using up my memory but not disc or CPU). I have seen some relevant advice on these forums but seem to have exhausted all options so thought I would start a new discussion in the hope I can find a solution. I have tried uninstalling everything and using the cleaner tool (twice) with no luck. Have made sure I am launching programs as an Admin which doesn't seem to make a difference. The only time I seem to make any sort of progress is when I clear the registry & AppData for Dreamweaver. This allows Dreamweaver to boot but only once and then the issue returns.I am hoping this is a simple fix and apologize if this is a repeat post or a generally silly question.Thanks!Jack

Hello,when I press F12 to see how the pages look like, .php pages diplay the lines of code and not the design of the page. It used to work fine before and I know I can display in Dmweaver the design but I prefer F12 (when it works)thanks

Hello, I asked a similar question before which eventually became "answered", but didn't answer the question completely,so pardon the redundancy.I have a home page, which is comprised of four .gifs and a background. The home page in the construction of the siteis one .gif in order to use the four .gifs and a background.I'd like to have a drop down menu, on the home page, using three, short parallel lines (universal for drop down?) as thebutton for menu. Menu will have links to four other pages. On each of those pages would be a graphic background (jpeg),and I'd like to have 12 .gifs, each hyperlinked to their own videos (.mov) which I'd like to play on the same page withplayback/volume control.To the great minds out there, is it possible? Hello all,I'm just starting to use DW CC2018. I was on DW cc2015/cs6 before...And I know very well what Adobe is doing to DW (sigh!).But I would like to test the real time preview with my websites (php + mysql, usually).But I can make the preview to update until I save the document.Is this the real time preview?All demonstations I've seen display text updating in real time while typing. But my real time peview updates only after saving the file.Nor the live preview is updating (weird!) until I save the file.Is this normal or am I missing something?TIA for any comment.Tony

I'm on Adobe Dreamweaver CC 19.0. Windows 10.The template feature don't update pages created under the template. After changes I got a pop-up: "Update Template FIles"  but 0 files are updated.  files updated: 0  files which could not be updated: 0The manual update also gives:  files updated: 0  files which could not be updated: 0The template file is located in automatically generated folder (Templates). All files passed W3C validation. Also I have recreated the site chache.Any idea how to fix this issue?

The extension manager always pops up when I open the Dreamweaver.  However, the manager always responded a failure result.  How can I stop the manager's updating process when I click to open the Dreamweaver ?

I'm using Dreamweaver along with Gitkraken. If I switch branches with, say, the library item "mainmenu145.lbi" open (I'm working on a refactoring while maintaining a current website), and that Lib item changes with that switch, when I switch back to Dreamweaver, it asks if I want to update the files that use that library item. This write-up assumes that the Check in Check out facility of Dreamweaver  is active The actions of updating a library and all the pages that contain that library are totally different in the Creative Suite (CS) versions of Dreamweaver than the Creative Cloud (CC) version and I believe in this respect  the CC version is inferior to the CS versions. In the CS versions when a Library was updated and saved Dreamweaver would attempt to update all pages that contained that :Library and if all those pages were not checked out Dreamweaver would ask the question of the user if they wanted to check out those pages..  That way two major advantages were gained.  First all the pages containing the library would be updated and the user was made aware, by the check out indicator, which pages were updated and thus needed to be checked in to upload them to the remote server. I have been using Dreamweaver for the past 7 years CS5 on a Mac and just recently updated to Adobe Cloud and my entire site broke. I am currently using localhost because I don't even dare wanna see what it does to a live site if it's breaking local host at the moment. I use MAMP for this localhost process. It's come to my attention that server behaviors and stuff like that have been removed here because they "recommend" you use something else or some other way. Pages show up completely fine until it's asking for any information from my localhost MYSQL sever. No coding has changed at all, yet once I remove all of the recordset code (which yes was used from the server behavior tabs and stuff but I know how to write myself) the page shows completely fine yet now I have a broken page. I'm unsure if I'm just overlooking something completely obvious or if I'm pretty much at the point to find a new program to use or a new way to do it. Hello,I am very confuse and I need help, I do not know much of coding. I made my design in photoshop and then slice it and was able to create this html. several times now my css work is gone and dreamweaver has add R in red with deleted code. I have to close the file without saving to get back to my work so that it is not lost. I'm just trying to use dreamweaver as a text editor only. I do my git in terminal and run gulp in terminal.  If there is no help for this I will have to start using atom and leave dreamweaver after using it since 1997 when it was macromedia.I can't work in it right now with this issue. So far I have always worked with the DW 2014 version because I always liked this yellow info bar on the top:In DW 2018 the Infobar is gone away. I know about Linting but I do not want to see any small javascript error (for example "expected '===" instead of '==') .I just want to know if the code is basically okay and has not syntax errors.
