Is the program still available? I haven't used Dreamweaver in awhile. Recently started using it via C.C. 2017. I don't see the B.C. download. Where do I download it at or from?

Hey folks, bit of a weird one, the file search in Dreamweaver 2017.1 has stopped working - see image below. Anyone else experiencing this or know a fix?

Hi folks,I'm dipping back into DW after a long absence. Currently watching a Bootstrap tutorial on Lynda.com that was recorded on DW 2015. The presenter uses the element display a lot, and I'm not seeing one or finding any way to kick one on – or any reference to toggling element display on/off in the docs.Was the feature tossed, or am I missing the obvious?DW 2017.0.2 / iMac 27" retina late 2015 / macOS Sierra.

I want to abandon wordpress and use dreamweaver.

I have several Web pages on my laptop that give different results when trying to preview them in a browser from Dreamweaver 2017.  A file in a site at C:\Users\myname\subfolder\subfolder\index.html works fine when I right click on the filename tab in Dreamweaver, click Open in Browser, and then select a browser (both Firefox and IE were successful).  However, when I try the same procedure with a file located at C:\folder\subfolder\index.html, Firefox returns "Server Not Found," and IE returns "Unable to find file," or some other 404 type error.  Additionally, when I create a completely new and very simple file, save it on the desktop, and test it with Open in Browser, it also works file.  What am I missing with the erroneous scenario??I've read many posts, but haven't found an answer, so thanks in advance for your help.

I'm working on converting a batch of old templates from some well meaning attempts to create web pages by someone who knows just enough to be dangerous (all embedded style-sheets, all layout is done with structural tables, XHTML 1.0 is mixed with HTML 5, etc.), and I'm taking this one document at a time.One of the requirements is if a table (and yes, a few of these pages do still require structural tables, as much as I'd like to rip that right out across the board) has more than one data column (nearly all the tables have a header column and at least one data column), then every other data column needs to be shaded, or in other words, alternating column colors.A feature I've added in is the ability to hover over a row and have the whole row turn gray. Here's a break down of what I'm doing and seeing. I was playing around with the starter templates from bootstrap as you can see in the screenshots below:2. When Dreamweaver opens the new project. My CSS file is from a previous project.See screenshot below. Since this is a new project it should be creating a temp folder and it shouldn't be referencing/linking to the CSS file of an old project. I'm getting an error "The component is not fully compatible with the current Bootstrap CSS/JS file (lower than V3.0)".I've searched this forum and followed all the advice for possible solutions. Most of the previous posts with this exact topic are a couple years old.I have cleared all preferences from exe. file, I'm in standard/live view for everything. I need some help. I started using my Dreamweaver yesterday, everything works great; however, when I try to run a project that I did earlier in the week, it says I need the Netscape/Firefox plugin. Where do I go to install it? Please and thank you!ZS

I keep getting this error message whenever I try to insert a bootstrap 'grid row with column' into a container-fluid.Does anyone know why this might be happening? I'm not sure what's going on with DW 2017 CC but when I docked the properties panel to the bottom, put a table on the page, then put the cursor in the cell, the props panel will NOT allow me to scroll down to the other fields.  Please look at image below. See where it says HORZ - CENTER?  I cannot scroll down to the VERTICAL field and note the W field; below is the H field but I cannot get down there as well.Another problem is when I add a table, the table box or interface is screwed up.  I have no idea why as the previous version of DW was working great.

Hello everyone, I am a beginner on Dreamweaver, and I have purchased the Dreamweaver CC 2017 classroom in a book. I was making a practice website when all of a sudden my Dreamweaver crashed unexpectedly, when I reopened the program, I found that I could not edit my website anymore. Whenever I click on any element nothing happens, and the HUD's are all greyed out. Does anyone know what is going on and could possibly help? Thank you! Screenshot below: Notice that the HUD for h1 is greyed out as well as everything else. I can't edit anything.

DW 5.5.  Website:  LetBamaVote.org    My images show well in Design view,  as well as upon tapping F12, however, consistently not so on the web.  My images in DW are stored in "images," as well on my host's server.  Double checked both folders were "images."  Spent all morning to get the images to load.  Help will be greatly appreciated. I recently freshly installed windows on my machine along doing so i reinstalled Dreamweaver CS6i go to open the file and it shows up with the following message"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application"I have tried reinstalling and rebooting but i'm stumped.Any help appreciated.

I can't figure out why when I apply "Source Formatting" the page looks unusual and is difficult to work with. I want each new line to be set "flush left." For no apparent reason, after I click the "Apply Source Formatting" icon, the elements  get indented. I don't want that.How can I make this page have the same formatting style as my others?Here's what I've set up for a current page. . .And here's what the same page looks like after I click "Apply Source Formatting."

where can extensions for suite CS5.5 can be found?

I frequently have text from email and other sources that are chock full of lots of extra spaces, usually in groups of 12.  I want to clean up my code, so I do a find and replace, copy the 12 spaces, and replace with one. I have been doing this since Macromedia days. Now I can't. I get an error that says:"One of the text search fields is blank. Enter the text you want to find."   well.... duh! The text is spaces. I noticed a setting button that I never noticed to the left of the search field, when it drops down, there is a selection that says "ignore white space", it is checked. I uncheck it. Then tell it to Replace all, I get an error that says: "One of the text search fields is blank. Enter the text you want to find."  No, DW is supposed to ignore white space. I open that option box and it is reselected.This seems like a very buggy change. What is up with this? Is there a workaround?Thanks,

I of course had to move to this subscription model silliness, but after mocing to 2017, the "Find and Replace" has a character limit and is STUPID! Why is there a limit all of a sudden? I've had to open and replace code on 600+ pages because of this newly imposed "limit" PLEASE for the love of God, REMOVE THE LIMIT!If there is a workaround, or anything I can do to fix it, let me know, but I hate Adobe right now.
